The Greatness of Devorah HaNevia

On Shabbat, I was reading the Little Midrash Says, the Book of Judges about Devorah HaNevia, a'h. Truth is, I never knew much about her before all this. Some interesting notes that I found and wanted to share:

She was the 4th Judge and before her reign, the Jews were not learning Torah and some were even serving idols. Therefore, HaShem allowed some of the 7 nations to fight the Jews and king Yavin, ruler over Eretz Canaan, attacked the Jews constantly.

King Yavin's general, Sisra, was very wicked and him and his army robbed and killed the Jews and Am Israel lived in constant fear and dread. Sisra would poke fun at Bnei Yisrael claiming he was greater than God. Because Sisra was haughty, HaShem decreed that his downfall would come about through women and this would cause him shame. The Jews suffered 20 years from him and his army but did not dare fight back because he had 900 iron chariots and Bnei Israel had none. They were convinced they would never win. From the desperation, Am Israel cried to HaShem more deeply and desperately than ever, during the time of the Judges.

HaShem chose Devorah HaNevia from Shevet Naftali. She was a righteous woman and very learned in Torah. Devorah HaNevia used to make wicks for the Menorah in the Mishkan in Shilo and would always thicken the wicks so the Menorah give more light. HaShem said, "Devora, you want My light to shine brightly. I will therefore make your light shine among the Jewish people!".

The Sanhedrin appointed Devora HaNevia as the Judge over Bnei Israel and she did a marvelous job in leading Am Israel. She taught and judged. She was also rich, having date trees in Yericho, fruit gardens in Rama, olive groves and other properties in different locations. She had enough to live on and never accepted gifts or money from Am Israel. She used to sit all day under a palm tree, known as "Devorah's palm tree". Devorah HaNevia always made sure to be in an open place that everyone could see that she was modest and not alone with a man in a closed house. She judged and advised Am Israel in all weathers, outside in the cold, rain, heat, etc.

Devora HaNevia considered herself the mother of Am Israel and Am Israel were her children, whom she had to bring up to study Torah and keep the Mitzvot. She also taught them to stay away from idols worship. Devorah HaNevia herself become greater than all the other Shoftim (Judges). Some of them had felt HaShem's spirit rest on them, but Devorah, reached an even higher level. She became a nevia (prophetess) to whom HaShem spoke.

HaShem told Devora HaNevia that it was time to overcome the army and Sisra. HaShem told her to prepare 10,000 men from two tribes, Naftali and Zevulun and gather them on Har Tavor. Devorah herself did not intend to go to war or to lead the Jews in battle. Being in the army is not a woman's job. But because her husband Barak ben Avinoam, zs'l, was afraid, she agreed to come. She prophesized that winning the war will be credited to 2 women.

When the 2 tribes heard the command, they prepared for war. No one refused to be drafted into the war against Sisra, even though they were risking their lives. Even the Sofrim (scribes) who were not trained for military service, joined without hesitation. Other tribes heard and also joined, including Talmidei Chachamim from Shevet Yissachar. All Am Israel suffered greatly from Sisra and because Sisra was part of the 7 nations in Eretz Canaan, it was a Mitzvah to destroy him and his army.

Some tribes stayed away from the battle. No men from Shevet Reuven and no help of shevet Menashe. Also, no one from shevet Dan took part. This was wrong and in Devorah HaNevia's song, she blamed these shevatim for being more concerned about themselves than the Jewish nation.

Sisra's army was stationed at the valley, close to Nachal Kishon and Barak's army stood on top of Har Tavor. Without HaShem's help, Am Israel would have no chance against Sisra's army but HaShem confused Sisra's army. They imagined hearing clangs of chariots and horses approaching. Truth is Barak's army had no chariots. Sisra's army panicked and fled and Barak's army had no need to fight. They gave chase and killed the enemy soldiers. HaShem performed more miracles. Night was beginning to fall and stars appeared in the sky. HaShem moved the stars directly over Sisra's army and it shone on their iron coat of arms. They became unbearable hot and jumped into Nachal Kishon to cool off. Another miracle occurred. Kishon was a very small stream of water but in one moment, it swelled and became a raging river. The soldiers drowned, together with their horses and chariots.

Sisra realized the battle was lost and went into hiding - however, a person's feet lead to the place HaShem wants!!!

He ran into a cluster of tents belonging to Chaiver Hakaini, descendants of Yitro who were Jewish and some were Talmidei Chachamim. Chaiver separated from the rest of the Kainim. Sisra appeared in Yael's tent and Yael recognized him right away. She told Sisra not to be afraid and this would be the last place they would look for him. Feeling tired, he was easily convinced and relaxed. He ordered her to bring him water and she brought him milk, it causes sleepiness. He ordered her to stand guard by the tent while he sleeps. A short while later, she saw he fell deep into sleep. Yael took a hammer and a big pin, the type which her tent was fastened to the ground. Carefully, she approached Sisra. She stood above him and drove the pin with the help of the hammer on Sisra's forehead. She banged the pin again and again deep into Sisra's forehead.

HaShem made a miracle and Sisra never woke up, he died in his sleep. With her bravery and courage, Yael, a'h, single-handeldly freed Am Israel from a cruel and dangerous man.

When Barak, zs'l, passed Yael's tent, searching for Sisra, she called him and showed him a 'surprise'. Barak realized that his wife's prophecy has come true. He would not be credited for winning the miracleous war; Devorah HaNevia began and Yael, finished.

Barak continued fighting against Yavin, the king of Canaan and easily defeated him and his army. Bnei Israel were completely victorious and once again, Eretz Israel was free and no longer under the rule of the Canaanim.

Which night of the Jewish year did this great miracle happen? The night of Pesach!

As long as Devorah HaNevia lived, for the next 40 years, the land was quiet and no enemy dared attack. Bnei Yisrael did complete Teshuva and followed in the path of Torah and Mitzvot....

The word Armageddon is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew har megiddon (the mountain district of Megiddo). The name of this battle is symbolic in memory of a terrible and actual battle which took place in Megiddo (an ancient city in Canaan aka Israel), not far from which the Canaanites under the leadership of Sisera were entirely destroyed. This dreadful total destruction remained for a long time a terrible memory for the nations that witnessed it.

Devorah HaNevia's Strength

To get to kever (grave) of Devorah Hanevia, a'h, one must go thru the צומת כח Koach Junction - Koach means strength. In the dream of 7-8 Tevet, it was explained to me why Devorah HaNevia was buried by Koach Junction and we know that nothing is coincidental, HKB'H runs the world and all worlds.

"The strength of His deeds, to give them the inheritance of the nations"
(Gematria 2084; 2+8+4=14)
Koach in gematria value is 28. Yad is יד 14 hand. 2 hands 14+14= 28. Reach your hand to Devorah HaNevia, a'h, and she'll reach her hand to you to give you Koach in ways you never thought possible.

Three way how to reach your hand to Devorah Hanevia, a'h:
1. Sing Shirat Devorah
2. Donate to renovate Kever Devorah Hanevia, a'h
3. Those living in Eretz Israel, go visit her Kever in Tel Kadesh and you chan achieve the secret power.

Extremely interesting history of Tel Kadesh from the Torah:

Tel Kadesh was the city of Leviim and Kohanim. It was destroyed by King Tiglath-Pileser III. He overran Israel, taking "Ijon, Abel-beth-maacha, Janoah, Kadesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee -- all the land of Naphtali..." (2 Kings 15:29), and deported the inhabitants to Assyria. Tiglath Pileser III was succeeded by his son Shalmaneser V, whom exiled the lost 10 tribes... The empire of Ancient Assyria is now know as IRAQ.

The ruins of Bet HaMidrash of Yehushua bin Nun, zs'l, is also in Tel Kadesh. Asher and Naftali ben Yaakov Avinu, zs'l, are also buried in Tel Kadesh.

Directions:

Tel Kadesh is about 22 miles north of Tiberias.
Take Road 90 and at Koach Junction (Tsomet Koach), turn left.
Go upwards, (Road 899) and ignore the first junction called Yesha Junction.
Continue straight -- You will see another juction that only has a right turn - ignore it as well and continue straight.
Drive slower and about 500 meters (1 km) look for a right turn.
As you turn right, you will see large green sign on the right Tel Kadesh
Park the car in the parking lot.
On the right, you will see a small path. About a 1 minute walk and you will see Kever Devorah HaNevia, a'h.

You will see many ruined ancient Roman temples in the area.

Reunion of 12 Shvatim & Moshiach

Before transcribing the dream it is important that you understand that in Shamayim, neshamot don't have 'free will'. Here we can exercise our free will and can choose what to do and say. In Shamayim, HaShem ordains everything and a neshama cannot 'decide' to go to a restaurant, take a nap, have a drink etc. It's silly examples but some people ask me if I can ask 'inquiries' in Shamayim to satisfy their curiosity and this is just as silly. In Shamayim (upper worlds), there's no sense of time. The soul does what needs to be 'done' and completely follows the Will of HaShem. Unlike this Olam, rebellious souls in Shamayim are NON-EXISTENCE.

A very good example is the dream (one of my favorites) Moshiach Answers and Explains. Even when I asked Moshiach questions, I asked only what HaShem permitted me to ask. The physical mind is dead! Just as a person cannot "plan to dream", a person cannot plan questions for Shamayim...

Another important thing to understand is that I'm a very simple person. Just Nava who needs and wants very much to do Teshuva. Sometimes in my dreams, my neshama in Shamayim is treated like royalty and I have permission to visit Tzaddikim and Tzadkaniot or they come to visit me. One of the reasons I went to Israel is to show gratitude and return the visits physically by going to visit their holy kevers (graves).

I have nothing to be proud of and this is the truth. I am a sinner and need to do Teshuva and b'h, merit to return to HaShem. When reading this dream, please remember that in reality, I'm nothing and just a simple Jewess who very desperate wants to do Teshuva...

I've been writing many times about Illusions & Ultimate Truth. In this Olam, women are mostly considered not powerful and looked down upon (by men) but the opposite is true! In the real Olam, Olam Haba, women are very honored. Just as in Egypt, it was in the merit of the women that Bnei Israel had redemption, and women were recognized and respected, so will be again, SOON!

In the dream of 6-7 Tevet, the Neshei Elokim, our foremothers and the seven great women prophetesses: Sara, Rivka, Rochel, and Leah Imenu, Avigail, Miriam, Huldah, Devorah, Chanah, and Esther HaMalka, a'h, and I were standing in a big open place (it looked like the desert).

HaShem gave us the important and holy work of setting up the 12 Shvatim (tribes) to stand in a certain position. The 10 shvatim reunited with the 2 shevatim. Of course all 12 Shvatim were very obedient, it never occured to them not to listen or argue that they know better just because we are women, which unfortunately happens too often in this Olam. It was the ultimate unification.

Our holy job was to position the 12 shevatim in a certain position that the grand LIGHT of Elokim of all Olamot (worlds) will be seen and felt in all 4 directions of the North-East-West-South.

Neshei Elokim called each of the twelve shevatim (tribes) by their name to assign their standing position, "We are asking Shevet *** to stand here in the position of ***". It took about 15 earth minutes for each Shevet to get into position and no more than 150 earthly minutes till all 12 shevatim were standing in the PERFECT position.

After all 12 shevaim were in position, we also stood in a unique position and together with Bnei Yisrael we were ready and in position.

Together with the 12 Shevatim, we said with ultimate unification, in ONE VOICE:
"כבוד המשיח אנחנו מוכנים Honored Moshiach, we are ready..."

Thirst for HaShem

On 3-4 Tevet, I was shown how all springs, rivers, and lakes dried up in Eretz Israel -
There is hardly any water to drink.

Where do you think water comes from? Do you think it comes from tap? By opening the tap, out pours the water?. And if no water flows from the faucet, will you comfort yourself by thinking water can be purchased?. But what if there's no water from springs, rivers, and lakes and no water to purchase?.

Where does water come from?

Why did the rain stop? Because people pretend to look forward but the reality is that people's eyeballs are turned backwards, looking only at themselves, at their own pathetic lives, concerned only for themselves. They don't realize that water comes from HKB'H and yet, they stubbornly search in vain for water, instead of beseeching to HKB'H with Teshuva and begging HaShem to send precious precious water rain.

Why are you not doing Teshuva? Why are you not realizing that everything comes from HaShem? Why do you complain that you cannot have an item precious as water when all you need to really to is TESHUVA???

Return, children who have rebelliously strayed".

Do you think that HKB'H will bring your needs to you? Do you think 'your' money will quench the thirst? Why do you wait in vain thinking that HKB'H will bring everything to you? Why do you not make an effort? Why do you think you deserve ANYTHING, even water?

Why do you think water comes from wells, rivers, banks, or springs? Water, as everything else, comes ONLY from HaShem. Do not wait in vain for HKB'H to feed and quench your thirst.

HKB'H is angry and says Isaiah 12) Who requires of you this trampling of my courts? Stop bringing vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me.

WAKE UP, WAKE UP, STRENGTHEN IN EMUNAH - I'M WARNING YOU. Do NOT say you have not been warned. Learn Hashkafa (concept of HKB'H). Have Emunah (trust). Strengthen your belief in HaShem.

There is no water to be found in the whole land. People complaining about lack of water and the thirst is tremendous but they stubbornly, do not want to realize it all comes from HKB'H. The cow will not give milk because she has no water to drink. The chickens will not lay eggs, because she has no water to drink. The earth has dried up. The trees are crying for some water for they are dying. Why do you complain there is no water? Pray to HaShem. Cry to HKB'H השיבנו ה' אליך ונשובה bring us back to You, HaShem, and we shall return.

"השמרו לכם, פן יפתה לבבכם, וסרתם ועבדתם אלהים אחרים והשתחויתם להם. וחרה אף ה' בכם, ועצר את השמים ולא יהיה מטר, והאדמה לא תתן את יבולה, ואבדתם מהרה מעל הארץ הטֹבה אשר ה' נֹתן לכם".
Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods, and bow down to them,
For if you do so, the wrath of the Lord will be burning against you, and the heaven will be shut so that there is no rain and the land will give no fruit; and in a very little time you will be cut off from the good land which the Lord is giving you.

Free Image Hosting at allyoucanupload.com נחל קישון Kishon River is the most contaminated stream in Israel but it is NOT the real Nachal Kishon. The real Kishon river is hidden from man's eye.

From Shirat Devorah, a'h: נַחַל קִישֹׁון גְּרָפָם נַחַל קְדוּמִים נַחַל קִישֹׁון תִּדְרְכִי נַפְשִׁי עֹז׃
The river of Kishon swept them (enemies) away, that ancient river, the river Kishon.

In the dream, Devorah HaNevia, a'h, showed me the secret authentic location of Nachal Kishon. It is not possible to get there by car, only on foot. She was above me, leading me the way to easily find the secret Kishon river. When I saw the Nachal, I saw the most beautiful water - fresh, pure, untouched, holy water. Never touched by mankind and hidden like the Sambatyon. I asked Devorah HaNevia permission to drink from the Nachal and she replied that anyone who merits to drink from this holy water, maintained thruout the centuries ONLY by HKB'H, will immediately purify their souls and know razei de'razin - secrets of secrets.

I asked her if I can bring Am Israel to the water of Nachal Kishon to drink or if I can take water with me for them to drink, to purify their souls. She said that I may drink from the water and when I do, I'll be able to know the location of Be'er Miriam (a'h) in the Kineret and bring Am Israel to pray there to HKB'H to open the heavens with precious water.

Devorah HaNevia is very humble. She only wants to help Am Israel and awaken us to do Teshuva and return to our Heavenly Father.

Before drinking from the precious water, I was crying and begging HaShem to השיבה שופטנו כבראשנה ויועצינו כבתחילה - Return to us the Judges as was initially and our advisors as it was in the beggining". Prophet Devorah was the only woman who was both a Judge and a Prophet. I was begging HaShem to return to us the pure Devorah HaNevia whom judged and advised Israel without payment, only LeShem Shamayim.

As soon as one drop of water entered my thirsty throat, I knew right away the location of Be'er Miriam. Within seconds, I was back in the city and went to fetch the Rav. I needed to urgently bring him to Be'er Miriam (Prophet Miriam, a'h) and show him the location.

The Rav did not easily believe me and I had to convince him to come with me to Teveria to the Kineret to see the location of Be'er Miriam. When we arrived, we saw the Kineret was practically empty, r'l. I showed him Be'er Miraim and he was in shock. I knew that it was Be'er Miriam without an ounce of a doubt. He questioned my certainty of the location because the location of Be'er Miriam is opposite of logic.

All people think it's in the bottom of the Kineret - the opposite is true!

The Rav held his head in his hands and emotionally crying without shame, “Behold, days are coming – the word of HaShem – when I will send a hunger into the Land; Not a hunger for bread or a thirst for water, but to hear the words of Hashem.”

To My Iranian Family

As a young woman in Tehran during the 1970s, Susan Manavi never visited a cemetery, even after her grandparents were laid to rest a couple of years before 1979 Islamic Revolution. Although they were buried in a Jewish cemetery near the city, Manavi's parents adhered to an Iranian cultural taboo that death and youth should be kept apart, so as not to tempt fate.

The 52-year-old Los Angeles woman first laid eyes on her grandparents' headstones two months ago on the Web site Beheshtieh.com. The site has photographs of thousands of graves from Beheshtieh Cemetery. "Looking at those graves took me back to our homeland and all the memories, sweet and bitter," Manavi said. "The sweetness of everybody living side by side, rather harmoniously, and the bitterness of leaving and not knowing if you will ever be back."

The site was developed by L.A. resident Shahram Avraham Farzan. He has cataloged the final resting place for generations of Tehran's Jewish people. Indexed alphabetically, the site provides an opportunity for e-mourning at a time when many Jews throughout the world feel antagonized by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The hardline conservative has repeatedly called for the annihilation of Israel, and most recently sponsored a conference denying the existence of the Holocaust.

Sam Kermanian, secretary general of the Los Angeles-based Iranian American Jewish Federation, said the Web site has stirred a lot of excitement because, "there are many in our community who, for various reasons, feel limited when it comes to going back to Iran.

"They fear hostility but they still feel closeness to that land and that people and their shared history," he said. For a community in exile, seeing the graveyard is a rare, meaningful way of connecting with the past, said Roya Hakakian, author of "Journey to the Land of No," a memoir of growing up as an Iranian Jew.

"I think in an ironic way this Web site makes you feel like you have not left your dead behind," Hakakian said. When "you are able to reach back to your dead, then there's a sense of being alive and not having entirely vanished."

The admittedly morbid undertaking was somewhat accidental for Farzan, who returned to Iran in 2002 to place a marker on his father's grave. Nearby, he saw the grave of a family friend and decided to snap a photo for the friend's relatives. In other parts of the cemetery, he saw poorly maintained graves, and others being moved for construction.

Farzan continued to take photos for the next ten weeks, covering about 70 percent of the graveyard and spending thousands of dollars before returning to the United States. Farzan would often haul buckets of water in the wintry cold of Tehran to wash the graves before snapping shots of them. "I thought it would be a good gift for the families of these people," Farzan, 51, said. "A mitzvah."

Like many Iranian Jews, Farzan often refers to the rule of Cyrus the Great when explaining how deep his ties are with Iran. In 539 B.C., the emperor invited Jews and all others to become citizens of what was then the Persian Empire and issued what is believed to be the first-known declaration of human rights.

"There are 2,500 years of Jewish Persians," he said. That history "cannot be eradicated completely."

Farzan now hopes to find the financial support and time to go back to other Jewish cemeteries in Iran to add to his Web site. He's received many letters of support from Jewish Iranians of different generations. A rabbi wrote to Farzan to thank him because his Web site offered him his first opportunity to say the Kaddish over his father's grave. The mourning prayer requires 12 Jewish men to pray at a grave, and the rabbi was able to do so, via Internet.

Others have written letters asking Farzan to help locate their family's graves, including many from California, where more than 160,000 Iranians live. Iranian Jewish communities dot the globe, with the highest concentrations in Los Angeles, Great Neck, N.Y., and Israel.

For Manavi and many of the estimated 80,000 Iranian Jews who emigrated to the Los Angeles area — about 20,000 remain in Iran — the idea of going back, if only for a visit, is never far from their minds. "I think, before I die, I have to go back. I want to see those places again," Manavi said. "I'm just waiting, hoping."

http://www.beheshtieh.com

"After 27 years since leaving Iran, I never had the chance to go back , I saw the picture of the resting place of my father zichrono livracha. The thoughts that I never was there when my father Alav Hashalom passed away 23 years ago and I did not have any idea how his resting place looked like and I never had a chance to visit his site was very upsetting. Many thanks to MR. Shahram Farzan who put such an humanitry effort and spend such a long time to creat this website. That reminded me when the Jews were busy asking their neighbours for gifts, as they were leaving Eygpt, Moshe was looking for the coffin of Yossef. May Hashem bless Mr. Farzan with a long life".

Rav Nachmani, zs'l, video clip with English subtitles - click here

"You think there'll be peace and one day we will have quite? Silly fools, It says in Parshat Haazinu about our generation "Stubborn, twisted and warped minds of this generation, to HaShem you will pay gratuity - withered nation, and fools"

KOREA WILL COME HERE!!!
HaShem save us and will save us. Not Syrian, Iran, Iraq - KOREA - R'L.
They are preparing an Atom bomb - and it's meant for us - R'L
If we don't do Tshuva, it'll be very difficult for us. Understand!! Know this!! It will be harder than the Holocaust.

Do you know where is HELL? (in Hebrew - Shaol) - IT IS THE CAPITAL CITY OF KOREA - SEOUL!!!

"ותאכל ארץ ויבולה ותלהט מוסדי הרים אספה עלימו רעות חיצי אכלה בם
what does this mean?
We abandonded HaShem, we thought we are in charge, the gov't does whatever it feels to do, HaShem ch'v does not exsist, Israel belongs to them and the nation is silent.
The Torah says that we are part of HaShem, His nation - we belong to HaShem.

"I am HaShem and if not with a strong arm, it will be with spilled wrath
"חי אני נאום ה’ אלוהים, אם לא ביד חזקה ובזרוע נטויה ובחימה שפוכה אמלוך עליכם".

We have no quarrel with the Arabs, we are quarreling with the Gd of the Jews. If we don't listen to Him, more pain and trouble and it will only worsen. Jews, stay away from Goyim culture. You are Jews, the sons of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov and have accepted the Torah!!
You must respect, honor, cherish and fight for the Torah - not violently, in ways of peace
TSHUVA - ONLY TSHUVA

Diplomatic conversations between Korea, its neighbors and USA will continue to Tishrei 5766 (Sept-Oct. 2005) and then Korea will decide to show how serious they are and will show the world their power with their built atom bomb -

The war in Korea is the most detailed war told by Rashbi (Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai zs'l). The 5th year of the last 7 years of the world starts 5765 and it will be the year when there will be many wars in the world. The 6th year will begin Pesach 5766 and it will be the beginning of Moshiach's revelation.

MY FRIENDS & FAMILY, - this was said by Rav Nachmani, zs'l, 12 years ago, right before he passed away.
My friends and family, there is not much time left for Tshuva. I cry, beg, pray, we succeed in doing Tshuva and HaShem Itbarach Shmo La'ad will accept our Tshuva and we will be zoche to greet Moshiach Tziddkenu with much Hakarat Hatov to HaShem.

This is the secret of Moshiach - the TRUTH.

Who Is Devorah HaNevia?

Hi Nava. Friday I was by Devorah HaNevia with a friend from the Moshav and he did not believe what he saw. He never knew that she was buried here, as many people never knew in the Moshav. I told Bat Sheva* and she said to tell you thank you and be healthy.
You are not going to believe me, but Devorah HaNevia came to me in a dream and smiled to me, b'h.
Ami

(When I hitchiked from Koach Junction to Ramot Naftali, Batsheva picked me up . She also did not believe that Devorah HaNevia is buried in the Moshav. I never had a chance to tell her that Ami and I found her kever and asked Ami to tell her. At the time when she drove me, she said that if it's true, she'll go daily to pray by her Kever).

"With the death of Yehoshua Ben Nun, the Jewish nation entered a new era. No longer was there a single national leader, a virtual king of the nation, as Moshe Rabbenu and Yehoshua bin Nun, zs'l, had been. As the Book of Judges notes all too sadly, "...In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was proper in his own eyes" (17:6 & 21:25).

Devorah was the only woman who was both a Judge and a Prophet. The only man who accomplished that feat was Shmuel HaNavi, zs'l, who bridged the period of the Judges and the Prophets. The date of the reign of Devorah was 1130 B.C.E. The Midrash places her in good company when it says of her that "Moshe, David and Devorah sang to Hashem and the Holy Spirit rested upon them." (Mechilta Beshalach 6)

There were episodes of extreme sinfulness that caused God to remove His protective providence from Israel, and foreign oppressors would exercise predatory control over parts of the country. Nevertheless, the masses of the people never lost their faith in God and their basic allegiance to Torah. God would choose a leader, known as a judge, who would rally the people to repent and thus deserve God's help once again. Then, generally, the judge would conquer and expel the oppressor and the nation would enjoy a long period of tranquility - until it slid downward again...In reading the Book of Judges, it is essential to note that the combined years of peace and righteousness far outnumbered the years of failure and persecution. Always, the Judge was chosen by God, and whenever he or she called upon the people to repent, they responded. The nation had shortcomings, but it was essentially righteous and true to the Torah and its Giver."

As a prophetess, Devorah exercises this right by making an exception for herself to the rule excluding women from public office. She does so not in order to pave the way for future female judges, but in response to her assessment that she, alone, is best equipped to respond to the needs of her generation.

God chooses Devorah because 1)she has a particular merit, and 2) her feminine character is appropriate for a leader of this particular generation. Devorah, herself, states, "I arose as a mother to Israel" (Judges 5:7)).

Devorah's unique vitality radiates from the privacy of her own home (where it transforms her husband), to the public domain where it re-inspires the Jewish nation. Devorah's power to empower is the source of her effectiveness as both public leader and wife.

Devorah is married to Lapidot (also referred to in the text as, "Barak") - a man who is not knowledgeable about Torah. The Hebrew word Lapidot means, "torches," which provides insight into the significant role of light in the relationship between Devorah and her husband. Rashi observes that the Hebrew description of Devorah as "wife of Lapidot" indicates she is "a woman who makes wicks." Devorah does indeed fashion wicks. She sends them with her husband to the Temple for use in its Menorah, the symbol of the light of Torah, which is the essence of the Jewish nation. Because of his wife's initiative, Lapidot is exposed to the holiness of the Temple and the people in it, and he is inspired to get involved in making the wicks and to take part in spreading the light of Torah among the Jewish people.

Central to Devorah's aspirations for her husband - and for the Jewish people - is her hope that each Jew will find a deeper understanding of and connection to life's purpose. Devorah's generation needs inspiration in this regard, and God selects her to help them pursue it. As a leader, Devorah motivates the Jews to take responsibility for their own internal illumination. In the same subtle way that Devorah inspires her husband, she moves the Jewish nation to re-embrace Torah.

The text of Judges (4:5) relates that Devorah prophesies and leads her nation from her seated place under a date palm:
"...a prophetess, the wife of Lapidot...She would sit under the date palm of Devorah, between Ramah and Beth-el on Mount Ephraim, and the children of Israel would go up to her for judgement."

The date palm is a metaphor for Devorah's generation. In the same way the life giving sap of a date palm is limited to its trunk (whereas in other trees it extends through the leaves), Devorah's generation has limited access to the life force of Torah, because it has but a few Torah scholars. To continue the metaphor, the date palm's minimal shade represents the relative absence of spiritual and physical protection without Torah.

Inasmuch as the date palm exemplifies the shortcomings of the Jewish people in Devorah's day, it is also a symbol of their strength. Specifically, the concentration of sap in the date palm trunk typifies the Jews of Devorah's era, who are said to be united towards God with one and the same heart. This attribute seems to contradict their deficits. How can both extremes be true of the same generation?

Devorah herself understands the reality behind this seeming contradiction. As judge, she inherits a somewhat disconnected generation, with a potential for spiritual greatness. She then empowers them with Torah knowledge, with her own exemplary righteousness and - most significantly - by believing in them. Devorah's faith in the Jewish people comes from what may be considered her maternal love. In the same way parents want the best for their children, Devorah holds such hopes for the Jews. And in the same manner a mother understands how to foster a child's own sense of accomplishment and self-esteem, Devorah inspires in the Jews a renewed sense of their value as God's chosen people.

In sum, Devorah exhibits a woman's ability to instill rather than impose, to invigorate rather than force, and to cultivate rather than command.

As judge, Devorah brings a feminine sensibility to a male dominated office. She refers to herself as a "mother of Israel," and her commitment to nurturing the Jews with subtlety and patience bespeaks this title. Devorah's leadership style is profoundly generous - focused as it is on her populace, rather than on herself. This style, together with her appreciation and knowledge of Torah, and her prophetic gift, marks Devorah as an agent of national rejuvenation.

Contemporary society is only now beginning to recognize that in order to succeed, a woman need not jettison her innate patience, insight and ability to inspire. Indeed, these feminine assets may prove essential to her accomplishment and personal fulfillment in life. Devorah embraces and utilizes the full extent of a woman's power for positive change. As wife, judge, prophetess and mother, or in the quintessentially male role of commander-in-chief, Devorah is consistently, successfully and wholeheartedly a Jewish woman.

In the Song of Devorah, she praises the Tribes who helped: Mainly Zevulun and Naftali; "Zevulun, people who were willing to risk their lives, and Naftali, on the high battlefield" (Shoftim 5:18) of Mt. Tavor.

The Tribes of Ephraim, Menashe, Binyamin, Yissachar and Gad came and will come in the future to the aid of our People.

Time and again in her song, Devorah re-connects Israel to its divine lifeline. She refers back to the moment when the Torah was given at Mount Sinai, describing how the entire earth responded to this event:
"Hashem, as You left Seir, as you strode from the fields of Edom, the earth quaked and even the heavens trickled; even the clouds dripped water. Mountains melted before Hashem - as did Sinai.." (Judges 5: 4-5).

Through her portrayal of God's prowess over Creation, Devorah implies that as His chosen people, Israel's singular mission is to align itself with His Torah. Further on in her Song, Devorah commends those who have already accomplished this task:
"My heart is with the lawgivers of Israel who are devoted to the people, [saying,] "Bless Hashem" (Judges 5:9).

Metsuda compares Devorah's capacity to inspire positive change, with a mother's ability to admonish in way that encourages, rather than discourages. Ralbag (R' Levi ben Gershom of Provence, 1288-1344) sees Devorah as a type of maternally oriented leader who motivates her followers to create a better life. The Malbim (R' Meir Leibush ben Yechiel Michel, 1809-1879) comments that like a mother, Devorah in effect gives birth - in this case to a nation that emerges with a completely new sense of self. Devorah's accomplishment in her own time becomes more than an isolated success story and issues forth as a legacy to Jewish women of all ages.

Gilad Shalit

In Parshat Miketz, it says Pharaoh sent and called the Yoseph.

The Zohar HaKadosh, zs'l, asks why it says את יוסף the Yosef (HaTzaddik) and not 'for Yosef''? The answer that the Zohar Hakadosh answers is that this passuk should be read as 2 different occurences. One is that Pharoah called and sent for Yosef HaTzaddik and the second part is at that minute, HaShem notified Yosef HaTzaddik that he is Moshiach Ben Yosef.

After Yosef HaTzaddik interperted Pharoah's dreams, Pharoah declared And he made him to ride in the second chariot. The Zohar HaKadosh explains that there is מרכבה chariot of Shamayim and chariot in the lower world. Since Yosef HaTzaddik has been chosen to be Moshiach Ben Yosef, within minutes, HKB'H gave him to ride in the second chariot of the lower world.

Yosef HaTzaddik became the Shalit (ruler) of Egypt. Why does the Torah HaKdosha (holy) use the word Shalit specifically and not second in command, president, governor, prime minister, etc.? The Zohar HaKadosh explains the deeper meaning of the word Shalit.

(Sha)LIT in Arabic means impurities. The Sha (letter shin) represents Tzaddikim as in the words shemesh (sun) and Shalom (which is also one of HaShem's names). Yosef HaTzaddik took the power of the impurity of the LIT and added on the Shin. He upped the impurity to the kdusha (purity).

Till here divrei HaZohar HaKadosh, zs'l.

Let's connect all this to Gilad Shalit. In Israel, approximately 600,000 soldiers are active in the IDF. Before Lebanon War II, HaShem set in motion that the Hamas abduct from all 600,00 soldier ONLY Gilad Shalit. Hamas is a trait of Esav - it means to take without permission, stealing.

The Hamas wanted to only kidnap the LIT (impurity) but because Yosef HaTzaddik combined the Shin to the LIT - Shalit, they stole the whole package, SHALIT. What they don't know is the power of the name GILAD. What does GILAD mean? Gal Ed.

Yaakov Avinu, zs'l, made a pact with HaShem and called it Gal Ed. "Gal-ed" can be translated as "the mound is a witness." - Yaakov Avinu named it Gal-ed, and Lavan declared, "This mound is a witness between you and me this day."

Shalit's name is Gilad, Gal-Ed, this is a brit (covenant) between HaShem and the Tzaddikim. It is a matter of very short time that Gilad Shalit will be pulled out safely from the impurities and return home. Amen Ve'Amen.

Sing to HaShem

Here is my melody, my words , my singing
There is no place I go that I forget You ARE,
Here , Father , my God , my Master, my King !

I praise You in the night , I praise You in the street
and You always listen to each one of my plea ,
until I feel serene , until I feel complete .

While You look after me, while You stand by my side ,
while You read my secrets , while You sound my soul ,
I stand before You , and this is my whole pride.

You give me strength to fill my heart over the void
You put the right words for what it is not to say...
You don't let me hide from You what I want to avoid.

You light fire in my soul to nourish my love ,
You pour Love over my heart to repair my anguish ,
You let me come to you and meet me from above

You are my only King , I have no other Rock,
and I know that from You, come all my fortitude
as I cry in the night , as I sing , as I walk .
I don't have to pretend I love You forever.

There is no other YOU in fact , and in my heart ,
You fulfill my hope , and fill the Universe .

Here is my melody, my words , my singing
There is no place I go that I forget You ARE,
Here Father , my God , my Master, my King !

Elokim: אל הים God of water

Storms & Anti-Semitism in USA ...disastereous storm was heading straight for the US. All the people that knew, wanted to leave the US. We soon saw the storm approaching and within seconds, the streets were flooded. Rain was pouring down and the hills were disintegrating from the mix of rain and mud. We barely made it out of there.I looked backwards and realized millions were going to suffer and die because they didn't know of the storm headed their way that was continually strengthening.

End of Days Dreams ... vision of the "ultimate Tsunami" in NYC and a lot will go under water and not survive. Only those who will turn to HaShem with complete Emunah will survive.

Sanhedrin: Call for Fasting ...People who live in the holy land of Israel, it is imperative that each family and individual escape the center, Gush Dan, and move far away from the beaches. Move to protected areas of the mountains, places the Gov't wants to disengage are the safest and the source of salvation.

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1164881939877&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull
When the massive tsunami hit the Indian Ocean two years ago and killed nearly a quarter of a million people, Israelis said that was one problem that wouldn't hit them.
But research conducted by Dr. Amos Salamon of the Geological Survey of Israel and colleagues in Italy and the US report there have been two dozen tsunamis documented in the region and 11 on Israel's coasts.
The Talmud itself mentions a tsunami between Caesarea and Yavne on December 12 in the year 115 CE after a major earthquake hit northwest Syria.
Salamon and colleagues carried out a historical survey of tsunamis in the eastern Mediterranean based on scientific and historical reports. They said some of the reported tsunamis were entered into catalogues "apparently in error for all sorts of reasons, and thus there may be an impression that the danger is more serious than it really is."
The first recorded tsunami in the region was in Egypt in the 14th century BCE, documented by archeological findings, the team said. A tsunami hit Israel's coast on the average of once every 200 years, with the last recorded once on November 25, 1759; this affected the coast of Israel and the Nile Delta and was caused by an earthquake on the border between Syria and Lebanon.
Seismic gushes of water have also been documented in the Kinneret, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Eilat.

Response to God's Knock ...The question HaShem asked of Adam HaRishon, zs'l, in the garden of Eden - "Where are you?" echoes throughout the ages. HKB'H communicates with man in numerous ways. Once the question has been asked of you, even as you attempt to determine whether you have indeed heard the heavenly call, the process of response has already begun.

WAKE UP ...A day will come and the Gates of Tshuva will be shut down and thereafter, the people will not be accepted by HaShem. Even if the people will be so desperate to do Teshuva, they will even walk with the old, all bent down, the Gates of Teshuva will not open for them. The time to do Teshuva is NOW. People are mistaken and think that there are a few years left till Iran will shoot nuclear weapons. They do not realize that North Korea did their nuclear testings to give Iran the push and courage. Therefore, there is no doubt that the time do do Teshuva is now.

HaShem Coordinates EVERYTHING

B'h, today, exactly a week after finding Kever Devorah HaNevia, a'h, I spoke with Ami. He told me more of what happened after we found the holy kever. The following morning, he went back to the kever and saw there were 3 candles lit on the kever, covered in a tin. He figured someone must have been at the Kever after we found it.

YES - I remembered. When he dropped me off at Koach junction, I was waiting for the never-coming bus. About 15 minutes later, a guy stops his car and offered me a ride. Reality sunk in. I don't know this guy and suddenly, was scared to get in the car with him. He sensed my fear and told me if I feel more comfortable, I can sit in the back. That was a decent offer and I accepted. He drove me to the central bus station in Acco.

On the way, we were talking and he told me that he is in the process of doing Teshuva. He has a wedding hall in Kiryat Shmone and about 3 years ago, was in a very deep depression. Being always a believer, he went to see Rav Dovid of Naharia Shlita (Baba Sali's, zs'l, grandson). He told the Rav he wants to stop running the wedding hall because it wasn't doing well financially and asked the Rav for suggestions for an income. The Rav said to him "How can you quit working at wedding halls? Your name is K'soso - Kol Sason vekol Simcha (sound of singing and happiness)". When he heard this, he decided there and then to buy Tfillin and of course, to continue running the wedding hall.

But he didn't have enough money to buy Tfillin. The following day, again he fell into depression, wanting to purchase Tfillin but not having the money for it. Later on that same day, while his wife was at work and kids at school, his mother-in-law shows up with a gift. She 'decided' to gift him with a new Tfillin.

"So, you see" he tell me, "I have so much Emunah and love for HaShem. It was a revealed miracle. I see now b'h much success in my wedding hall and I am able to bring home a nice income and ever since that day, the Tfillin goes with me where ever I go".

His story made a deep impression on me. I then told him of a recent miracle that just occured to me and how great and Merciful HaShem is, chasdei HaShem. After 2 hours of search in the dark, me and another person, Ami, found Devorah HaNevia's Kever.

He turns around, while driving, and starts reciting the whole Shira (song) of Prophet Devorah. When he finished, he says to me that he drives in this area for 30 years and NEVER knew that Devorah HaNevia is buried here. He wanted to know the exact location.

I asked him if he knows about Devorah HaNevia and he replied "Know her? It is in her merit that I am alive!". I didn't understand. He told me that when he was about 10 years old, in Morocco, the yeshiva he went to taught them Shirat Devorah HaNevia and they had to learn it by heart. Once, he fell into a pit and many hours passed and no one found him. He recited Shirat Devorah and 30 seconds after saying it, he managed to come out of the pit. Till today, he does not know what happened that helped him come out of the pit. Unfortunately, his Judaism decreased and got 'busy' with life and forgot about Shirat Devorah.

He told me that his name K'soso - Kol Sason vekol Simcha. He'll go to Kever Devorah Hanevia and SING to her the Shira that she composed to HKB'H.

When Ami told me about finding the candles, I knew it was Mr. K'soso whom probably got to the Kever early morning, on his way to work...

Ami told me that he announced in the shul about Kever Devorah HaNevia and has taken many people to her Kever, including older men who cannot get there on foot. Everyone in the Moshav is buzzing with excitement about this tremendous 'find'.

Ami is traditional but b'h, goes to shul for Shacharit minyan and never missed a Tefilla on Shabbat Kodesh. He told me that since finding her kever, he goes to 'visit' her every morning and says Shirat Devorah HaNevia right after Shacharit, before going to work. He said that he feels a spiritual Light that he has never felt before and b'h, will begin wearing Tzizit very soon...

I told him that my husband's brother who lives also in the North, is searching for the 'right' constructor to begin renovations. He started laughing and asked him why he's laughing? He said that this is what he does, together with his brother, for a living. They are constructors!!! And they already one step ahead of me and discussed how to renovate the kever for Prophet Devorah and will do ALL the work necessary.

WOW!!!

I told him that b'h, many are donating for the renovation. He said that anyone that lives in Israel and wants to donate directly, to give out his home address and the money will go ONLY for material bought to renovate the Kever. He told me his plans which are beautiful. Him and his brother discussed building around the kever a big room with Jerusalem stones and on top, a large Kipa, in blue...

He told me that they cleaned up the area and he will send me more pictures. I asked him if there is an email address where I can write him and he said that he has internet but the computer is broken. I asked him to turn it on. Who knows? Maybe it will work...

Yes, chasdei HaShem, another revealed miracle. His computer works fine, b'h. I emailed him pictures of the messages Devorah HaNevia left in my home, while still on the phone with him. When he received the pictures (Thank You HaShem for the usage and wonders of technology!), he went into a silent shock. I asked him if he's ok and he asked me if I showed these to anyone besides him. I told him about Dreaming of Moshiach blog.

He asked that I show EVERYONE these pictures. I asked him why? He replied that it's a very big revealed miracle and after witnessing what we witnessed at her kever, the whistling song from shamayim and the falling stars, he's considering going to purchase Tzizit right away. He feels ready for this gigantic step.

So, at the request of Ami, here are the Prophet Devorah HaNevia, a'h, left in my home and in many other homes in the merit of singing Shirat Devorah. It's Not Too Late...

The number 4 is Dalet - Devorah

Sanhedrin: Call for Fasting

BS'D - 4th Light of Chanuka, 5767
Sanhedrin of Eretz Israel 054-534-3545

Sanhedrin Announcement: Call for Fasting

Although it is not customary to decree on Chanuka, but urgent times call for urgent measures. Asara Betevet (10 Tevet), when fasting in Israel and the Diaspora, focus the fast on annulling the wicked decrees that are imposed on Am Israel to be destroyed, erased, and murdered.

The Sanhedrin are calling on all Gdolei HaTorah to announce limited fasting every Monday and Thursday to annul this unbearable tragedy on Am Israel, to pray in every location and take the ark out from the Synagogues, into the streets and blow shofars. This should be done as long as there is no rain is in sight and when the rain will Be'ezrat HaShem arrive, with HaShem's great mercy, continue this in an effort to annul the wicked decree of Haman. Anyone who ignores this call is considered merciless.

There is no logic to wait for the execution of the horrible decrees and then fast. We saw in the time of Mordechai HaTzaddik, zs'l, that Am Israel fasted on Pesach and Chol HaMoed.

From 'inner' knowledge of the terrible decrees that are hovering over Am Israel, each person including men, women, and children of Bnei Israel, with all physical and emotional strength, scream and pray to Merciful HaShem to annul the decrees. Do not be lightheaded and comfort yourself that it will not happen. The decrees are very threatening and the aim is to destroy Am Israel. The danger is growing daily.

Yell, scream, pray to HaShem to send us Moshiach Tzidkenu with much needed mercy.

Also, you, Jews in America, strengthen in Emunah (belief) in HKB'H and pray to HaShem to annul the decrees. Do not fool yourself and convince yourself that you are safe. Our salvation is not depended on nations but ONLY on HaShem.

People who live in the holy land of Israel, it is dangerous to live in crowed locations. It is imperative that each family and individual escape the center, Gush Dan, and move far away from the beaches. Move to protected areas of the mountains, places the Gov't wants to disengage are the safest and the source of salvation.

We call on the Gov't of Israel to make more public transportation available to allow the Jews to spread out in Yehudah and Shomron, Galil and Negev and Yerushalayim IMMEDIATELY. Every day of postponement in this urgent matter is a matter of life and death and if you don't heed right away, you will be Judged in HaShem's court.

Soldiers of the army, if you are given orders from IDF 'higher authority' that are against the Torah, do NOT follow orders. Jewish blood is precious and not abandoned.

This must be published in 70 languages and made known to every non-Jew consulate in Israel. Nations of the world must know that they are stealing Jewish holy land and are the enemy, even by just helping to steal more land and are called WICKED and will fall and die in the upcoming last war.

May Moshiach's light shine on us on these dark days, from the strength of Matityahu and sons, zs'l, to be the Tree of MBY and MBD, united.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of HKB'H has risen upon you.

God Is Your Guardian

Friday, Dec. 8, something very powerful from Shamayim was revealed to me. I was told exactly what I needed to do. But first, there was the matter of telling my husband that I needed to go away and not to ask any questions. I was not allowed to reveal it to him either. I waited till Sunday to gently tell him, not ask him. He 'opposed' the idea and with that, went to take a nap. During his nap, a malach (angel) appeared to him and warned him not to stop me from what it is I need to do and not to try convincing me...

He woke up and told me his dream. He said that it'll take every effort on his part not to stop me but to 'reconsider' my options.

There is nothing to 'reconsider' but agreed that I'll go to the Ohel the following day and do Igrat Kodesh and ask the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'l... The answer in the Igrat Kodesh matched 99.9% with the dream. When I returned home, I calmly called my husband and said 'it's a go-ahead'. He told me to wait till he gets home and we'll talk about it. At around 5:00 pm, he called and said that he thought about it and although it's difficult for him, he's afraid of Shamayim to delay me. I called the travel agent and there was one chair available for the 11:30 flight. I booked it, called a friend/neighbor and arranged with her to take care of the kids, packed a backpack and cooked dinner. When I checked-in at the airport, I was very surprised that I received a window seat, my favorite...

I slept the whole flight and woke up in time just to pray and land. I hardly felt the flight. I came out of the airport and took Sherut (service) to Yerushalayim. The driver asked me where I want to go and I said Bet Lechem to Kever Rochel Imenu, a'h. He started laughing, thinking I am joking. So I said drop me off at any central street and I'll manage... He asked me if I'm serious and I said as serious as he is about working and making money. He told me "fine, I'll take you but if entrance to Kever Rochel is not permitted, the price is the same!".

He asked me if I'm hungry and I realized I'm starving. I didn't eat dinner and nothing on the flight. He was kind to stop at 'Aroma', a dairy 'badatz' kosher restaraunt and told me he'll wait in the car. I got a sandwich and cappuccino and for him, espresso.

The drive to Kever Rochel was less than 15 minutes. We get to the main gate and they wouldn't permit entrance, only to cars and buses that are bullet proof. Not accepting no as an answer, I walked to the main building, not realizing that it was a walk-entrance only for Palestinians/ Arabs entering Bethlehem on foot. I saw 2 policemen and told them that if they don't give the driver permission to drive me to Kever Rochel, I'll walk to Kever Rochel. They laughed at me, just as the driver did at first.

They 'escorted' me back to the taxi, warning me never to step out of his car till I reach Yerushalayim, a Jewish area. They wanted from the driver his ID and demanded to know how he let me exit his car, alone. The driver's name is Ami. Ami didn't want trouble, apologized to the 2 fools and promised he'll take me back to Yerushalayim. He made a U-turn and I see a bus. I tell him STOP! I get out of the car, not paying attention to the 2 officer fools and ran towards the bus. I don't know if it's a bus with Palestinians or Jews but determined to find out and get to Kever Rochel.

I ask the bus driver if he can take me to Kever Rochel and he said 'I don't see a problem but you got to ask permission from the group leader.' Ok, it's a Jewish bus - b'h. The group leader is a woman, b'h. The bus is full of women of all ages. The leader tells me they spontaneous decided TONIGHT they want to go to Kever Rochel and are waiting official permission for entrance to Kever Rochel. Just then, a soldier walks over to the bus and says "It's a go ahead. You may enter to Kever Rochel". (In the pix is Yoav, the one who 'gave' entrance permission).

I ran back to Ami, paid him, took my backpack and ran back to the bus. Everyone wanted to know what I was doing on a road with a taxi. I explained that last night in NY, I had a big urge to go to Kever Rochel so I hopped on a plane, took a taxi and here I am. The leader was so touched and asked my name. She took the microphone and with a voice shaking, said "It was not a spontaneous decision to come to Kever Rochel tonite. It was Yad HaShem (Divine Providence) to enable us to bring Nava from NY inside Kever Rochel."

Everyone clapped and I was glad it was dark so no one can see me blushing. I don't like attention and in my mind, I was only answering their inquiry. I didn't expect such a big deal to be made about it. As I made my way to the back of the bus, everyone was staring at me as if I was ET. B'h, I speak perfect Hebrew and I mumbled that it's not me whom they are talking about, it's a different person whom is sitting in the front...

2 minutes later, we entered Kever Rochel. The time was approximately 8 p.m. About 90 minutes later, I asked in the office if it's possible to make a collect call. I didn't have my cell with me. They said I can call direct but I explained that it's to NY. "Are you the person whom just got off the plane?". How did they know this so quickly? "Yes", I replied. I gave them the phone number and they dialed for me. I told my husband that I arrived b'h safely and inside Kever Rochel. He asked me where I'm planning to sleep and I said "right here, with Ima Rochel". He told me that I'll never be able to get permission and even if I hide, it's not safe...

I calmly answered that HaShem brought me here and if it's the Will of HaShem, I'll stay here tonite. We spoke some more and when we hung up, the person who dialed for me asked "Do you want to stay here tonite?". He must have heard the conversation.

He explained that it's dangerous and I'll be all alone but if I am willing, it's at my own risk. The Kever is closed from 10:30 pm till 2:00 am, that's when a group of men come for Tikun Chatzot.
At 10:30, the last call was heard to get on the bus going back to Yerushalayim. It got so quiet all of a sudden. I realized, I'm physically all alone but this night, will be the most spiritual night ever...

Many things 'occured' till the minyan of men arrived. What I was originally sent to Israel to do was 'postponed'. There was something I needed to do in connection with Rochel Imenu's son, Yosef HaTzaddik, zs'l...

I pray daily that there will be no more postponements but I know that Hakol Letova - everything is for the good...

He not slumber and not will sleep, the Guardian of Israel. God is your guardian, God is your shade, over your right hand.

Serenity of the Righteous

This morning, while driving alone to the Ohel of the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'l, the weirdest thing happened. I started thinking about Devorah HaNevia, a'h, and I got so emotional, tears were flowing. Why would thinking about Devorah HaNevia cause tears? By now, I was bawling. I was on the Belt Parkway when I hit bumper to bumper traffic and I suddenly felt an urgent urge to remove everything from the passenger chair. I look at the passenger chair and I feel Devorah HaNevia is sitting here - inside my car, on the passenger side, next to me.

I freaked out. Is it my imagination or reality? B'h, the traffic was so congested, we were hardly moving and didn't need to concentrate on the road. I hear inside my head the sweetest voice "nava, nava". I instictly turned my head to the right but don't see anyone. I decided to turn up the music and the words of the song hit me like lightening; Yaakov Schwekey's CD, song #6 'Moshiach' and the words in the song are are Uri Uri Ki Ba Orech - the same exact words as said in Shirat Devorah HaNevia, עוּרִי עוּרִי.

By now, my whole being was shaking and I quickly lowered the volume. I again instictly turn to my right to look at Devorah HaNevia, because I felt her presence so strong but see NOTHING. While tears are freely flowing down my face, I say in Hebrew (to her), please reveal yourself or show me a sign you are here. There was no verbal answer, but I got the answer telepathically and Devorah HaNevia answered that she's here inside the car.

At that point, I called my husband on the cell while crying hysterically, "Is it possible? Tell me if it's possible. When you told me to stop 'speaking' with Gilad Shalit, I stopped. Is it happening again but now with Devorah HaNevia, a'h - Aleha HaShalom."

My husband told me to stop driving and park the car on the side. I did as he told me. He told me that after dreaming that HaShem is Watching Over Gilad Shalit, that's when I started having conversations with him. The same thing happened last nite. I spoke in my sleep and dreamed about Devorah HaNevia. He asked me if I remember anything. I did not remember. When he told me some of the dream, I remembered.

In the dream of 27-28 Kislev, I was very excited. I saw Tzaddikim jumping from place to place in this Olam. The Tzaddikim who help Jews while they were alive (like Lubavitch Rebbe, Baba Sali, Rav Kaduri, Rochel Imenu, Devorah HaNevia, etc. zs'l) have permission to come to this Olam and appear to people, either in dreams and/or physically.

I saw Devorah HaNevia in the dream and because we care so much to give her proper and respectful burial, in Shamayim, she has menucha (rest). We have been able to give Devorah HaNevia Aliyat Nishma (elevating her soul) in Shamayim. I saw the Malachim dancing around her and place a crown on her head and Tzaddikim and Tzaddkaniot were singing for her לעת כזאת הגעת למלכות - You have attained royalty at this time".

In the dream, I was so excited and overwhelmed with happiness for her. Devorah HaNevia finally gets the great recognition she so much deserves.

I calmed down and restarted the drive towards the Ohel. (When I got to the Ohel, the first time ever, I merited to witness a Brit Milah in the Ohel of the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'l). I was so excited remembering this beautiful dream, but more than anything, for witnessing the pure joy for Devorah HaNevia.

Once again, without thinking, I turned my head towards the right and looked at the passenger chair. I heard the most pleasant sweetest whisper in my mind, and this time, there was no doubt!! It was Devorah HaNevia. She said 'מגלגלים זכות על ידי זכאי megalgelim z'chut al yedei zakai Good deeds are rolled through innocent people. Now I can have מנוחת ישרים ...'

NK's comment: Devorah HaNevia, a'h, is very humble. Thank you all for your wonderful and thoughtful donations for Kever Devorah HaNevia. For those who have not yet donated, please also be מגלגלים זכות על ידי זכאי and donate for the Renovations of Kever Devorah Hanevia, a'h. I also didn't donate yet...

Judge Us With Mercy

In the dream of 27-28 Kislev, I was 'reminding' HaShem to remember His great rachmanut from the beginning of creation of this olam and to 'stretch' His great rachmanut till the end.

For you have said, Mercy will be made strong for ever; my faith will be unchanging in the heavens

The month of Tevet (beginning Friday) is a very difficult month. It is a winter month that is equivalent to the summer month of Av, a hard judgment month.

Malchut Bet David (King David kingdom) began based on Midat HaRachmanut (mercy). Without HaShem's rachmanut, c'v, the world would have long ago ceased to exist.

How did Malchut Bet David begin? Yehuda, zs'l, has three sons. The eldest son marries Tamar, a'h. Unfortunately he dies shortly afterwards. The Jewish custom is "Yibum--Leverite Marriage", the next son in line marries his widowed sister-in-law. The second son also dies.

Yehuda then tells Tamar (38:11) "Sit as a widow in your father's house until my third son is old enough to marry you". After much time goes by, it becomes clear to Tamar that Yehuda has no intention of giving his remaining son. This puts Tamar in a very precarious situation. According to Jewish law, she isn't married because her husband is dead. At the same time, she isn't really single because as long as there is someone who can perform the Leverite marriage, she is joined to him until he either marries her, or performs "Chalitzah"--a ceremony that lets him off the hook. According to the laws of Yibum, if there are no brothers to marry the widow, the father is next in line!

'Coincidentally', Yehuda's wife suddenly dies and he goes up to Timnah to get away from it all and shear some sheep. Tamar seizes the opportunity and dresses up like a prostitute and sits at a crossroads on the road going up to Timnah. Yehuda sees her and (38:15) "Thinks that she is a prostitute because her face is veiled". Yehuda then approaches Tamar and propositions her and offers her, the seal, string and staff. Tamar gets pregnant and immediately goes home the next day.

Three months later, Tamar is beginning to show and someone tells Yehuda that his daughter in-law is pregnant. Yehuda seems to view her as a married woman because he says (38:24) "She must be taken out and burned" as would happen to a married woman who committed adultery. On her way out to be killed, Tamar sends Yehuda the 3 security items with a message (38:25) "To whomever these things belong, is the one from whom I am pregnant". Whereupon Yehuda owns up to the whole affair by admitting out loud "She is more righteous than I".

The "seal" that he gave her is not merely a signet ring. Rather, it's the "seal" that Hashem puts on every Jewish man--i.e. the Brit Milah (circumcision), which represents the Covenant Hashem made with us. As part of this Covenant we expect Hashem to watch over us and in return He expects us to keep His mitzvot. One mitzvah we are expected to keep, specifically symbolized by the Brit Milah, is refraining from immoral behavior (which is why the Brit is done where it is). By transgressing this mitzvah with Tamar, Yehuda gave away his "seal" i.e. his Brit Milah.

The second thing that Yehuda gave Tamar was his string, or "P'til". The string is a symbol for Tzitzit, which are put on a four-cornered garment and include a "P'til T'chelet-blue string". In the prayer "Shema Yisroel", we say that tzitzit act as a reminder of all mitzvot. One way we see this is by adding up the numerical value of the Hebrew letters "Tzitzit" (=600) and adding to that the 8 strings of the Tzitzit and the 5 knots, which = 613. That number corresponds to the total number of miztvot we have. Tzitzit is also supposed to be a deterrent for sexual immorality. As it says in Shema "And you will see the tzitzit and YOU WILL NOT STRAY AFTER YOUR HEART"--which refers to immoral activity. In transgressing this, Yehuda gave Tamar his Tzitzit as well.

The third security that Yehuda gives Tamar is his staff. The staff represents leadership/royalty. Moshe Rabenu (zs'l) performed miracles with his staff and thus "ruled" over the Jews, like a King rules with a staff or scepter. A King is commanded not to have too many wives, because it could lead to immoral sexual activity. Since Yehuda involved himself in this kind of activity with Tamar, he gave away his staff as well.

For you have said, Mercy will be made strong for ever; my faith will be unchanging in the heavens

Although a person can come out of Hashem's Presence, it can never be that Hashem's Presence be removed out of the person.

Pray to Hashem to rule with Midat HaRachamim during the time of Midat HaDin and to send us the Geula with much needed Rachmanut, Amen Ve'Amen.

Devorah Hanevia and Rav Kaduri, zs'l

After posting Renovations of Kever Devorah, the connection came to my simple mind and even posted about it in Divine Providence ....HE ASKED ME WHAT PULLED ME TO COME FROM NY TO DEVORAH HANEVIA'S KEVER.... I TOLD HIM THE TRUTH, WHAT WAS REVEALED TO ME... MANY PEOPLE IN THE MOSHAV INVITED ME TO SLEEP IN THEIR HOME BUT I INSISTED I WANTED TO GO HOME BECUZ I NEED TO BE IN MOUNT OLIVES EARLY MORNING FOR THE HILLULA OF RAV KADURI, ZS'L.

About 10 years ago, I merited to receive a bottle of wine directly from the Tzaddik Rav Kaduri, zs'l. I never opened the bottle and kept it in a dark corner cabinet.

Rav Kaduri's wrote the following blessings on the wine bottle with his signature:
'This wine will be for complete health from all sicknesses, and from evil eye, and from all bad happenings. HaShem protect you and all those that are with you with days of long living and long life with happiness, success and comfort to you AKY'R. Yitzchak Kaduri (zs'l).

Now I know why HaShem wanted me to 'save' it. 2 options: One is to GIVE Rav Kaduri's bottle of wine to the person who will donate the most for the Renovations of Kever Devorah Hanevia, a'h. The other option is to mail donators a small translucent plastic tube with Rav Kaduri's blessed wine, closed with a snap-in cap. Please vote your opinion on the panel on the right side.

Much is needed to be done for Devorah HaNevia's kever and given the dignity every Jew wants. How much more so a great prophet who save Am Israel. Some of the immediate action needed is to clean, renovate the outer structure, parochet Kever cover, a Matzeva, shelves for Tehillim and sefarim, charity box, plaque with Devorah HaNevia's song, a steel box for lighting candles, wash basin, towels, signs to the kever, a proper trail leading to the kever, and that's just the beginning...
