Shabbat Shira Shalom

This Shabbat, Parshat Beshalach, is notable for many things. It is one of the few throughout the year that is given a special name. Parshat Beshalach is called Shabbat Shira (the Shabbat of Song), commemorating the glorious and awe-inspiring event when, after the miraculous deliverance from the Egyptians at the Red Sea, the children of Israel simultaneously burst forth into a song of praise to Hashem.

In the Haftara, we read Shirat Devorah. In both the Parasha and the Haftarah, women play a prominent role. “Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aharon, took her drum in her hand and all the women went forth after her with drums and with dances.” (Shemot 15:20). The victory related in the Haftarah takes place under the leadership of Devorah HaNevia, a'h, and it is into “the hands of a woman” (Shoftim 4:9), Yael, a'h, that Hashem delivers the General Sisra. After the victory against Sisra, Prophet Devorah leads the nation in a song of praise to HKB'H. This song outlines the recurring theme in the history of Israel: Oppression -- Repentance -- Victory.

Chasdei HaShem, with much gratitute to HKB'H, we will be making a Seduat Kiddush in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h, on Shabbat Parshat Beshalach, when Shirat Devorah is said in every shul, every city, every state, and every country, world-wide.

We are calling upon you to make an effort to make a kiddush in your shul in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a’h.

If it is not possible for you to do so but would like to participate, you can join our Seuda in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a’h, in Colony Beach, Bat Yam by sending your contribution in this tremendous Mitzvah.  The Yartzeit of Devorah HaNevia, a’h, is unknown. Therefore, it is most appropriate time to make a kiddush/Seudah for Devorah HaNevia on Shabbat Parshat Beshalach.

Seudat Shira In Honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h

A BIG thank you and yasher koach to all the wonderful people who donated for the Seduat Mitzvah le iluy nishmat and in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h.

One cannot comprehend the nachat Tzadaka gives HKB'H. Our chachamim teach us that Tzedakah is “equal to all the mitzvos” and “brings closer the redemption.”

The Seudat Mitzvah was, b'h, a tremendeous success. The Chabad Shul has a congregation of about 25 people and we prepared for about 40 people, but chasdei Shamyim, over 60 people showed up and stayed for the Seudat Mitzvah, and there was plenty of food for everybody. Even the Rav of the shul was very surprised that so many showed up, people he never met or saw before.

The atmosphere in the shul was very spiritual and my husband merited to say the Haftara, Shirat Devorah HaNevia, a'h. The atmosphere during the Seuda was amazing with thick air of achdut (unity), despite the fact that it was a mixture of people of different backgrounds. The men sang songs in unison and a few also said Divrei Torah. My husband also spoke about the greatness of Devorah HaNevia. After my husband's speech, many of the guests came over to my husband and said that they were very moved by his speech and he has peaked their interest to learn more about Devorah HaNevia. Many guests told my husband that they were not aware how much she sacrificed for Am Israel and that her Heichal is extremely important to HKB'H. A few promised that they will too make seuda in their shul in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h.

Some of the donation money also went to the Tehillim program for the children in the shul. About 50 children came and all said Tehillim le iluy nishmat Devorah HaNevia, and the Rav commented to my husband that he never saw the children saying Tehillim with so much spiritual fire.

Importance of Gratitude

Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh, zs'kl, says in the name of the Chida HaKadosh, zs'kl, that when HaShem does a miracle for a person and this person shows HKB'H gratitude, HaShem promises that He'll bestow another miracle on this person.

Devorah HaNevia, a'h, sang to HKB'H in the song of gratitude and said URI (awaken) 4 times;
עורי עורי דבורה, עורי עורי
The first two URI's were to thank HaShem for the great miracle of winning Sisra and the last two URI's were for the miracle that HaShem will bestow on her.

The Chida HaKadosh says that in the last two URI's (wake up), she asked HaShem not to bestow the promised miracle in her lifetime but to transfer it to the last generation at the End of Days. She asked HKB'H that the final redemption should come easily for the last generation, with many miracles, just as HaShem did for her generation and they easily won Sisra and the land was quite for 40 years.

Devorah HaNevia is so humble and cares so much about Am Israel - she humbly transferred her promised miracles, 3,000 years later, to us, TO US!!!!!!

In gratitute to Devorah HaNevia's song of praise to HaShem, we also need to show Hakarat Hatov (gratitude) to Devorah HaNevia for transferring her promised miracles to us for the redemption to come without pain....

By Devorah HaNevia and Barak Ben Avinoam, a'h, we have a precedent for the kind of dynamic where the mission of Mashiach ben Yosef is shared, in partnership, by two people (male and female דוכרא ונוקבא)

In ‫ שופטים ד' ד-ה‬it says:
‫ודבורה אשה נביאה אשת לפידות היא שפטה את ישראל בעת ההיא והיא יושבת‬ ‫תחת תמר דבורה בין הרמה ובית אל בהר אפרים‬
“Devorah was a prophetess, the wife of Lappidos; she judged Yisrael at that time. She would sit
under the date palm of Devorah between Ramah and Bet El on Mount Efrayim”.

This verse contains hints to Devorah HaNevia and Barak’s possession of the spiritual qualities of Mashiach ben Yosef.

Firstly, ChaZaL taught that: “Lappidos”, used here, which literally means “torch” is
actually another name used to describe “Barak”; for “torch light” and “Barak”, which means “a
flash of light”, are similar in meaning (see Redak).

Different forms of fire and light, such as "‫“ ,"שחר‬morning light”, "‫“ ,"אש‬flame”, "‫“ ,"ברק‬flash
of light” and "‫“ ,"נר‬candle flame” are all references to the spiritual qualities of Mashiach ben
Yosef (see ‫ .(קול התור ב‬

Thus Devorah HaNevia being described as: "‫,"אשת לפידות‬ implies that she was connected to the spiritual quality of Mashiach ben Yosef in her generation. This is also true by Barak, whose name also denotes manifestation of Mashiach ben Yosef.

It is also not happenstance that Devorah HaNevia chose to locate her authority in the area of Mount Efrayim, for "‫ "הר אפרים‬is in the territory of the tribe of Yosef, and “Mount Efrayim” itself is also a term used to describe Mashiach ben Yosef (see קול התור ב' א‬).

It is also not without significance that, in their song (‫שופטים ה' יד‬) Devorah HaNevia and Barak Ben Avinoam mention fighting against Amalek, which is also included in the mission of Mashiach ben Yosef (see ‫קול התור ב' נה סב‬).

Shabbat Shira

In honor of Shabbat Shira, we are doing Shabbat in a hotel in Northern Israel at Rechasim (about 30 km from Tel Kadesh) with all family members (about 70 people) in a hotel and my husband will read Shirat Devorah HaNevia on Shabbat Shira. Shortly after Shabbat, we are b'h heading towards the kever of Devorah HaNevia, a'h...

B'h, Reb Chizkia promised us that this week, digging will begin in Tel Kadesh and thus, building the Tzion lichvod Devorah HaNevia will begin shortly afterwards...

For those who have followed this blog might remember Ami - 2 years ago, the first night of Chanuka, I came from the US to Israel searching for the kever of Devorah HaNevia, a'h. While in the upper Galil, HKB'H sent Ami to help me find the kever of Devorah HaNevia. At the time, Ami was a regular secular single Israeli guy. But ever since finding the kever of Devorah HaNeiva, Ami b'h, returned to the religion and eventually entered a full time kollel in Miron, above the Tzion of Rashbi, z'skl.

2 weeks ago, we called Ami to tell him that we permanently moved to Israel but he managed to surprise us with his terrific news....

2 years exactly since we first found kever Devorah HaNevia, Ami got married to a religious girl - the wedding was the first night of Chanuka and he is now living in Tzfat with his wife!!!!!!!!!!!

Lichvod Devorah HaNevia, a'h

Last night we went to our Rebbe's house for a Lag Ba'Omer dinner. He said a beautiful drasha and then invited us to light candles in the zekhut of a Tsaddik of Am Israel.

Before that happened he approached me and asked me to light a candle in the zekhut of Dvorah Haneviah, a'h. The Rebbe is aware about the building of the Tzion lichvod Devorah HaNevia and blesses everyone involved.

Prior to lighting the candle, I read Shirat Dvorah directly from the Tanakh; with my dear wife on my right and the Rebbe to my left. When I came to "Uri, Uri" a strange chill went up my back...

After I finished with the song I lit the candle "le-iluy nishmat Dvorah Haneviah z"l. Attached please find a picture of the candles, the one I lit is the rightmost one.

May we see our Moshiach come soon in our days, and may we participate building the Third Bait Hamikdash.

Secret of Water

"And Devorah, a'h, was a prophetess... and she called Barak ben Avinoam, a'h, to go to war... And Barak said "If you go with me, I'll go, but if you will not come with me, I'll not go." We learn from this that Barak, zs'l, feared the enemy, mainly Sisra.

Midrash Aba Gurion, zs'l, explains who Sisra was, "There was not a man stronger than him. He was 30 years old when he captured that whole world with his mighty strength. There was not one large city that he did not destroy its walls with his mighty voice. Even the animals were afraid of him, when he raised his voice, the animals would not dare move. When he would go to war, 900 horses would carry him in his chariot, and when he returned, not one survived, he was so big and heavy, his weight sliced them like steel slices cotton. He would go to war with 40,ooo soldiers, 50,000 swordsmen, 60,000 spear fighters, 70,000 guards, 80,000 arrow shooters, and that's besides the additional 900 steel chariots with thousands of soldiers riding in it. Midrash Raba says that he also had 31 kings accompanying him. Sisra was the strongest man ever created. It says about him that when he would go to Nachal Kishon to drink water, the fish would get caught in his beard."

Sisra’s army was thoroughly defeated but Sisra escapes and hid in Yael's tent. He tells Yael to bring him water, but instead she gave him milk - מַיִם שָׁאַל חָלָב נָתָנָה

Sisera knew he was going to get killed and he purposely asked for water because he wanted to know...
מַיִם - מתי יבוא משיח - When will Moshiach come?

Yael gave him milk instead of water, thereby answering him:
חָלָב - חייבים לחזור בתשובה - We must repent!

Sisera ordered Yael to stand guard by the tent while he sleeps. A short while later, she saw he fell deep into sleep and she took a hammer and a big pin, the type which her tent was fastened to the ground. Carefully, she stood above him and drove the pin with the help of the hammer on his forehead. She banged the pin again and again deep into Sisra's forehead.

It was fitting that it should have been his brain that she dashed, since, as revealed by AriZal, Sisera's hold was in the brain and mind (DAAT).With the destruction of the unholy husk, the holy spark was released from the union of Sisera and Yael, and Rabbi Akiva, zs'l, descendant from this union.

A tremendeous hint that Rabbi Akiva, zs'l, descendant from Sisera is when Sisera asked Yael, "היש פה איש Is there a person here?". In Gematria value, יש פה is 395, same as Rabbi Akiva.

Rav Chizkia Shlita

The meaning of the name Chizkia is 'Power from G-d'.

During the time that King Chizkia, zs'l, was king over Israel, the general Sancheriv came to conquer the land. After destroying every town in the country he finally arrived at Jerusalem. His astrologers had informed him that in order to take Jerusalem, he would have to arrive there and attack on that very day, before sunset. If he failed to attack on that day, he would lose the opportunity. He had heard many stories about the invincibility of Jerusalem, and how it could never be taken, so when he arrived there, and saw that the whole city was only a ten minute walk from one side to the other, he burst out laughing and told his generals that he was going to sleep, and that he would attack and destroy the city in the morning. But his advisers had been correct, that very night, a plague, sent by Hashem, hit his army, and its one hundred and eighty five generals and millions of men were all destroyed, and Sancheriv had to run away and hide.

The prophet Yeshayahu, zs'l, informed King Chizkia that it would be proper and fitting for him to sing praises to Hashem for the great miracle that had been done for them. King Chizkia disagreed, he felt that it would be more suitable to learn Torah in honor of the miracle.

This was a great mistake for King Chizkia to make, for really, the singing of the praises of Hashem is on no less a level than Torah learning. However, when the time comes to sing the praises of Hashem, even Torah learning must take second place.

King Chizkia, zs'l, would have become the Moshiach and the redemption would have come immediately but because he did not sing his thanks to HaShem, the opportunity for redemption was lost.

While my husband is still in Israel this week, organizing necessary permits for the building of the Tzion lichvod Devorah HaNevia, a'h, his first-born daughter (from his first marriage) gave birth to her first-born daughter this Shabbat Kodesh, 7 Nissan, at 3 am.

The newborn baby girl is named... SHIRA DEVORAH - mazal tov. What a beautiful original name!!!

My husband and his mother and and the entire family, including the uncles and aunts are right now on their way, for the first time ever, to Kever Devorah HaNevia, a'h, to tell Devorah HaNevia the good news and to pray....

If you live in the Tel Kadesh area, (upper Galil) you can go there within the hour and meet my husband and his family and personally wish him mazal tov on his first granddaughter, Shira Devorah.

Update on Kever Devorah HaNevia, a'h

After posting Prophecy: Transfer Your Money to Israel, many are emailing me inquiring to know what is the currect status of the donation money for building the Tzion for Devorah HaNevia, a'h.

80% of the donations have already been transferred to Israel and exchanged into Shekalim, b'h. Atara Kadisha approved the project, chasdei Shamayim, and are preparing the work plans. My husband is in Israel this week and is meeting with Rav Israel Herzberg Shlita at Tel Kadesh.

After Pesach, I'll be going to Israel, b'h, and meeting with Rav Israel Herzberg, Atara Kadisha, Israel Antiquities Authority of the Galil, Golan Archeology of Merchav Tzafon, Prinicipal Machoz Tzafon, RT'GA rcheology, and RT'G Supervisor of Antiquities of the Galil to sign all necessary documents to begin the building of the Tzion lichvod Devorah HaNevia, a'h, לתפארת עם ישראל.

Armageddon of the Bees

The article about the mysterious missing bees begins as follows:

In late 2006, whole hives of honeybees began dying overnight--victims of an unknown syndrome. All the unanswered questions have beekeepers buzzing. "Something out there is ruining my livelihood," says David Hackenberg, the Pennsylvania beekeeper who first reported CCD.

The answer:
In late 2006, (exact date: Dec.14, 2006, erev Chanuka), Kever Devorah HaNevia, a'h, was found in the upper Galil in Tel Kadesh...

The history:
After Ehud ben Gera's death, zs'l, HaShem gave the Jews into the hand of King Yavin of Canaan. For 20 years Am Israel suffered daily intifada from wicked Sisera and his army.

During this time, a woman named Devorah, (HaNevia, a'h) began to observe what is occuring to Am Israel. She went to Shilo (the city were the Mishkan was) and saw that the place was filthy. The walls and its corners were full of cobwebs and she saw an old man holding a a small candle, hardly able to learn. She returned to her husband and quickly sent him to Shilo with wicks and olive oil to light the Mishkan in Shilo. She herself went out in the streets and saw an old woman crying, tearing her hair out and asked her, "What is wrong?." The old woman replied, "I have an only son who is very ill and in grave danger." Devorah (HaNevia) replied, "Have you forgotton the G.od of Israel? Right away go with your sick son and take with you olive oil to the Mishkan and pray to HaShem that your son will live. Light the oil for the honor of the Torah, and b'h, HaShem will save your son". The woman believed Devorah (HaNevia) and did as told. HKB'H healed the woman's son.

Meanwhile, Devorah HaNevia went to the marketplaces and to the streets and woke up Am Israel's hearts. She saw 2 old men sitting at the corner of the street, telling each other their pain. She said to them, "Enough old men. Instead of speaking about your tragedies, why don't you ask from our Heavenly Father for mercy? Get up, wash your faces and go to the Mishkan in Shilo and cry to HKB'H that Am Israel are in pain and are being prosecuted daily by our enemies, the wicked Sisera and King Yavin."

She continued to do this, going in various places and waking up the Jewish hearts of men, women, and children to go to Shilo and cry to HaShem for mercy. She told each person to take with them wicks and olive oil to light up the Mishkan.

Meanwhile, she continued sending with her husband wicks and olive oil for the Mishkan while awakening Am Israel to do Teshuva. Soon after, she went to visit the Mishkan in Shilo and saw that it was packed with men, women, and children crying to HKB'H for mercy and candles were lit in every corner, including in the gardens.

The biggest sins of that generation was claiming that everything that was happening to them was a 'coincidence', blaming 'mother nature' on disasterous weather and blaming the government for being wicked men. But now they were no longer saying that it was coincidences or mother nature, they realized that HaShem runs the world and the Creator of the World can change the decrees, based on the behavior of the Jews.

Devorah (HaNevia) herself strengthened in Emunah (faith) and said, "Creator of the World, Your sons and Your friends are screaming to You and begging for Your forgivness. They are waiting for Your salvation and there is no salvation, except YOU."

Devorah (HaNevia) knew that the tragedies are not for nothing. She went to visit yeshivot and schools and saw that the Jewish children are being taught the Canaan language. Devorah (HaNevia) yelled in pain, "Where is the Torah that we received in Har Sinai? It says in the Torah about the young babies of the Torah, "מפי עוללים ויונקים 'Out of the mouth of babes and nursing babies, etc."

Right away, an awakening came about to Am Israel, it was Time of Will, שעת רצון, and all the Talmud Torah and Yeshivot removed idols from their hallways and purified themselves from foreign language. It was during this cleansing period that HKB'H gave Devorah HaNevia prophecy and it was then that HaShem told her to call Barak ben Avinoam (zs'l) to war against Sisera.

During the 40 years that Devorah HaNevia judged Am Israel and was a prophetess, she and her husband lived separately.

We learn from this that when Devorah HaNevia saw Am Israel's despicable behavior, she woke them up to do Teshuva and thru their repentance, HKB'H saved Am Israel and redeemed them.

May we, the last generation, also merit to do complete Teshuva and HKB'H will redeem us in the final redemption, be'zchut Devorah HaNevia, a'h.

Pipes of Abundance

In the post Seuda for Devorah HaNevia Protects Am Israel, the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'l, appeared to my husband in a dream and asked him, "How was the Seuda in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h?"...

...The Rebbe requested from my husband to "Tell her (Nava) to come to the Ohel and tell me all the good things that occurred at the Seuda. Tell her to say it, she should verbalize it with the mouth. There are many terrible decrees hovering Am Israel and when she will verbalize all the good things that happened during the Seudat Mitzvah in honor of Devorah HaNevia (a'h), it will act as defense for Am Israel and it has the power to annul the decrees".

On Tuesday, January 22nd, (Tu B'Shvat) I went to visit the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'l, at the Ohel and read him 4 pages of hand-written good things that happened during the Seduat Mitzvah in honor of Devorah HaNevia.

... the timing of HaShem's abundance on American Jewry cannot be dismissed as a 'coincidence'..

On the same day, New York Gov. Spitzer budget unveiled (on January 22) increased mandated services aid for Yeshivos , $54.9 reimbursement in addition to the proposed $87.5 million reimbursement for other mandated services, bringing the total proposed mandated services to $142.4 million...

2 days later, Thursday, January 24th, HaShem descented a great pipe of abundance on American Jews... the Stimulus package deal. Seuda for Devorah HaNevia Protects Am Israel

On 13 Shevat (Jan. 20), the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'l, appeared to my husband in a dream and asked him, "How was the Seuda in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h ?"

My husband replied, "Very special. The atmosphere was extremely holy and the achdut (united) was very strongly felt".

As soon as my husband told the Rebbe there was achdut, a tremendeous bright shine blasted all around the Rebbe.

The Rebbe then asked my husband, "Why didn't she (Nava) come to tell me about the good news that happened during the Seudat Mitzvah in honor of Devorah HaNevia?"

(In reality, a week before the Seudat Mitzvah, I went to the Ohel and invited the Lubavitch Rebbe).

The Rebbe continued and said, "She used to come to the Ohel and always told me good news as well as what might be troubling her, why didn't she come to me yet to tell me how the Seudat Mitzvah was?. She told me she'll tell me good news and I also asked her to tell me Bsorot Tovot".

At that point, my husband began to cry...

The Rebbe continued and said, "Tell her to come to the Ohel and tell me all the good things that occurred at the Seuda. Tell her to say it, she should verbalize it with the mouth. There are many terrible decrees hovering Am Israel and when she will verbalize all the good things that happened during the Seudat Mitzvah in honor of Devorah HaNevia (a'h), it will act as defense for Am Israel and it has the power to annul the decrees".

As soon as my husband told me the message from the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'kl, I took papers and pen and started writing all the good points that occurred before, during, and after the Seudat Mitzvah in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h. (B"H, I'm going to the Ohel very soon). B'H, I filled up 4 pages of hand-written good things that happened and I'll share some here, to give our Heavenly Father nachat:

* Many donated their money to be part of the Seuda.
* In the zchut of the Seuda, there was tremendeous unity and people who fought made peace and forgave one another, b'h. Even the children were very peaceful and all were eating and playing together and not one child fought with another!
* The Rav publicly humbled himself by apologizing to Devorah HaNevia, a'h, for not wanting to make the seuda.
* There was tremendeous Kiddush HaShem (we hired 3 non-Jews waitresses and insisted they sit and eat with us during the Seuda. They later told my husband that they were sure that all the guests was one big family and when we'll make another 'meal', he should only call them to serve).
* The number of the usual congregation was tripled and the prayer was extra spiritual. There was hardly any talking during the prayers.
* All the children were praying.
* There was Birkat HaCohanim.
* All the food that was prepared, I said on each one, Lichvod Shabbat and Seudat Mitzvah.
* The food was plentiful and we all merited to do tikkunim for neshamot thru the food.
* Many walked long distance to join the Seuda.
* During the Seuda, there were Divrei Kdesha said and Zmirot were sang.
* One of the guests collected all the leftover challas after the Sedua. The following day, we took our children and the neighbor's children to the beach to give the birds, fish, and ducks the leftover challas.

The above is just a partial list out of 4 pages...

United, B'Zchut Devorah HaNevia, a'h

The Seudat Mitzvah was, b'h, a tremendeous success. Although we expected about 100 people and prepared for about 120 people, it turned out that over 150 people showed up, despite the cold weather. Even people we didn't invite or know, heard about the special Shabbat Shira Seuda and b'h, merited to join in the Tefilla and seuda. Even the Rav of the shul was very surprised that so many showed up (when we first suggested to the Rabbi to make a Seuda in his shul in honor of Devorah HaNevia, he refused and said his reason is that very few will show up and he didn't want all the food to go to waste...).

Friday afternoon when my husband brought the Chalot to the shul, he 'bumped' into an elder man inside the shul. This man told my husband, "For years and years, even in Morocco, my father tried to make a Seuda in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h, but no shul permitted it. I guess it wasn't time yet... You should know that you were blessed with a big zchut to be able to make a seuda in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h."

The atmosphere in the shul was very spiritual and my husband merited to say the Haftara, Shirat Devorah HaNevia, a'h. He later told me that when he got to the part "URI URI DEVORAH", he felt the Ministering Angels joining him in the Shira and tears were rolling down his face as he continued saying the Shira.

After the morning prayers, everyone went upstairs for the Seudat Mitzvah. B'h, we prepared a lot of food in honor of the Seuda (non-catered) including; 200 challahs, 16 sorts of salads, 2 sorts of fish with side dish appetizer of Moroccan spiced hummus, 2 mega-large pots of Chamin/Cholent filled with meat, rice, hummus, potatoes, eggs, wheat, etc., 17 bottles of wine, few bottles of Arak, 2 cartons of beer, 2 crates of soft drinks, 2 gigantic platters of sliced fresh fruit, and many platters of custom-make cookies.

During the Seuda, more people showed up, 3 people even walked over 45 minutes one-way in honor of the Seuda... Chasdei HaShem, there was plenty of food for everyone and all the food was b'h eaten... No one left the seuda hungry, chasdei Shamayim...

The atmosphere during the Seuda was amazing with thick air of achdut (unity), despite the fact that it was a mixture of people with different backgrounds, ashkenaz and sephardic. The men sang morrocan and ashkenaz songs in unison. The Rabbi spoke and admitted to everyone that he was against having this Seuda because it didn't make sense to him to make a seuda for a 'woman'. He apologized to Devorah HaNevia publicly and said that till Moshiach arrives, may HaShem merit the shul to continue to have a Seuda on Shabbat Shira in honor of Devorah HaNevia every year... Everyone applauded and then my husband spoke about the greatness of Devorah HaNevia.

After my husband's speech, many of the guests came over to my husband and said that they were very moved by his speech and he has peaked their interest to learn more about Devorah HaNevia. Many guests told my husband that they were not aware how much she sacrificed for Am Israel and that her Heichal is extremely important to HKB'H. One guest told my husband that although he is blind (r'l), he 'saw' my husband's neshama burning with spiritual fire... Another person (a honored Rav) came over to my husband and told him that all his life he studies the Torah and heard many speeches but a speech that was given by my husband with so much fire, he never yet heard...

The achdut (unity) that was felt during the Seuda was the highlight of the Seudat Mitzvah. One family that has not stepped inside this shul for years because of a silly fight decided it's time to make peace and came for the Seuda... 7 years ago I had a 'fight' with a friend and we haven't talked since. I was very surprised that she came uninvited but as difficult as it was, I came over to her and thanked her for coming and we kissed and hugged... Another family that were rivaliries of the Rabbi, opened a new shul years ago just in spite and it was the first time in 20 years they stepped inside the shul...

HaShem's Treasures

In the dream of Tevet 2-3, I was in Shamayim, in an ultra holy Heichal and was physically shaking with fear. I was speaking with the Sh'china (Divine Spirit) and said to HKB'H that in order to build the Tzion in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h, we need money,
"הקב"ה, תשלח מאוצרך הטוב. אני מבקשת את זה רק לשם שמיים"
"HKB'H, send from Your good treasure. I am only asking this for the Sake of Heaven".

In reality, I have no interest in money. It's not anything I accomplished thru internal work, I just never had any interest in money. When I was a young girl, we lived in Israel and one day, my mother gave me coins (lirot) to buy myself ice cream. When I reached the store, it was closed (in Israel, stores close during the afternoon for 2 hours). I didn't feel like waiting for the store owner, so I threw the money on the street and went to the park. When I returned home, I got spanked for dumping the coins... But it didn't effect me and I continued disliking money.
When I became an adult, my parents gave me a large amount of money (over 6 digits) and I gave it all away, keeping for myself less than $2,000.

This is the reason I was so shocked when I asked HKB"H to send from His good treasure, money. Everyday, I beg HKB'H to allow us to build the Tzion for Devorah HaNevia but I never thought to ask for money. Maybe Shamayim wanted me to verbally ask from HKB'H to send money from His good treasure...

About half an hour later, I was again in Shamayim and was begging to be allowed to see how the Tzion will look when it's built. I begged about 8-9 times, "כבודם, Please show it me. I want to see it so much...", finally, b'h, my wish was fulfilled.

My soul was elevated into un upper Heichal, and I saw it. There was so much spiritual light around it. During the dream, I physically raised my hands to cover my eyes because the spiritual light was too powerful to look at. I asked if a curtain מסך can be placed between my eyes and the Tzion so I'll be able to see it because its holiness shine was too powerful for me to look at it directly.

Tel Kadesh, Upper Galil

Identifying the site Tel Kadesh and its history:

Tel Kadesh (near Lebanon's border), was a consecutively populated site situated in the center of the mountainous upper Galil for 5,500 years. Originally it was the city of Cana'an that turned to an Israel fortress and is located in the property of Naftali (zs'l). (יהושע יב, כב; יט, לז).

It was also one of the 6 cities to turn into Cities of Refuge in Eretz Israel. The Cities of Refuge were towns during the Kingdom of Israel and Kingdom of Judah at which the perpetrators of manslaughter could claim the right of asylum. According to the Talmud Bavli (מכות ט, ב – י, ב), the city of refuge, Kadesh in the upper Galil, was situated opposite the Golan Heights, and there were specific paths leading to Kadesh, with signs, to ease the perpetrator of manslaughter to arrive safely.

Contradictory to what was thought in the past, Kadesh was not the place of residency of Barak ben Avinoam, zs'l. Agreed by most researchers, the city where Barak ben Avinoam lives was in the lower Galil, south of Tiberias (nearby Mount Tabor, where the war against Sisra took place).
Kadesh in the upper Galil was one of the cities captured by King Tiglath-Pileser III. He overran Israel, and deported the inhabitants to Assyria. Tiglath Pileser III was succeeded by his son Shalmaneser V, whom exiled the lost 10 tribes...

Since the fall of Kadesh, it became a non-Jewish settlement, the center for idol-worshipping. During the time of the Maccabean Revolt, the city served as an important army base for the Roman-Syrian army. 60 years later, King Hordus (known as Herod) fought for Kadesh.

During excavation in Keren Naftali at the end of the '90, a kosher Mikveh was found, and it is presumed that the Chashmonaim built it. This is the most ancient Mikveh ever to be found in the Galil, and in whole of Eretz Israel.

King Titus also arrived to the city of Kadesh in the year 68 with his army and settled there. During the era of the Mishna and Talmud, Kadesh served as a central christian city in the upper Galil. It is assumed that during this era, no Jews resided in Tel Kadesh (no traces of a shul was found).

In the time of the Ga'onim, when Kadesh was the central and capital city under Muslim control, a few Jews returned to Kadesh. Rabbi Yitzchak, zs'l, wrote, "The number of Jews in Kadesh was minimal, most lived there only to protect the graves of the Jews and to welcome Jewish guests wishing to visit the holy graves".

In the 1700's, it was reported in Eretz Israel scroll that a Jewish community lived in Tel Kadesh and was called, "ק"ק קדש נפתלי". In the 1900's, it was reported in the scroll that no Jews resided in Tel Kadesh, all its residents were arabs [שערי ירושלים, ה"א תר"י].

It is important to mention that the scroll mentions that the kevers of Barak ben Avinoam, Devorah HaNevia, Yael; wife of Chever HaKeini, (z'l) the heros of the war against Sisra, are buried in Tel Kadesh. It also mentions that Tel Kadesh is the burial ground of Naftali and Asher ben Yaakov Avinu, zs'l, and in Tel Kadesh is the remnants of the Bet Medrash of Yehoshua bin Nun, zs'l.

The city of Kadesh became totally isolated, without residents, during the late years of the Middle ages.

Devorah HaNevia, a'h

After winning the war against Sisera, Devorah HaNevia and Barak, her husband, sang the song of victory, Shirat Devorah, praising and thanking HKB'H. It says in the Gemara, פסחים קיז.
"Devorah and Barak said the praise (Song of Devorah) at the hour when Sisera stood over them".

It is written in Gemara גמרא פסחים קיז:

"Chachamim say: Prophets amongst them amended that Am Israel say Shirat Devorah in any time of trouble for Am Israel. When we will be redeemed, Am Israel will say Shirat Devorah in gratitute for being redeemed".

"דבורה וברק אמרוהו [הלל] בשעה שעמד עליהם סיסרא",

ועוד מובא [שם] "חכמים אומרים: נביאים שביניהן תיקנו להם לישראל שיהיו אומרים אותו [הלל] על כל פרק ופרק ועל כל צרה וצרה שלא תבוא עליהם לישראל. ולכשנגאלין אומרים אותו על גאולתן".

"In Kadesh, underneath the village are buried Devorah and Barak ben Avinoam and a large stone is placed on them"

Shavchei Yerushalayim:
"Kadesh is where Devorah and Barak are, and on top of them are large stones".

Tov Yerushalayim:
"Kadesh, in Arabic, Kadis, near לניאס, are the graves of Barak ben Avinoam and Devorah HaNevia... and on top them are etched large caves".

Near the wellspring and the antique synagogue, which was called "Midrash Yehoshua bin Nun", the Jewish mausoleum (structure of upper burials) (in the Gemara, it is referred to as "Nefesh") where Devorah HaNevia, Barak ben Avinoam, and Yael, a'h, were buried in alcove graves, was intact.

But during the Six Day War, since the city of Kadesh is situated at the border of Lebanon, the city of Kadesh was bombed and the structure of the mausoleum was destroyed. The stones appear to be intact but the walls and the roof of the mausoleum fell.

According to drawings we have from the 1900's, it is possible to reconstruct the mausoleum and save the Tzaddikim's graves that are buried there in disgrace.
