Death of Righteous Boys Cancells Decrees

In Elul, a few Yeshiva boys from Yeshiva of Pressburg Shevet Sofer in Yerushalayim, accompanied with their teachers, went to Miron to the cave of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, zs'l, and planned to go afterwards to other holy kevers in Teveria.

They arrived at Miron towards evening and spent the night at Rashbi's kever, doing Tikunim and praying. In the morning, they got into the car and were very excited and in high spirits to continue the trip to holy Kevarim in Teveria. On the way, the car turned over and fell into a canyon. It was a terrible accident and the driver (a teacher/Rebbe, zs'l) and 3 of the yeshiva boys whom were very successful learners died immediately. Some boys in the car were severly hurt and taken immediately to the emergency room at the hospital. The names of the boys that died in the accident were Mordechai Pollack, Yitzchak Nachum Noysht, and Avraham Friedman, zs'l.

One of the yeshiva boy, Mordechai Pollack, had complete faith in HKB'H and was always occupied doing charity work. He used to have a notepad and and would wrote down all he did during the day. Every night before going to sleep, he would read it to see if there is something he missed or if something needs correction.

Mordechai Pollack's best friend was a quiet boy, Menachem Levy. For some reason, he did not join the group on this trip. When he heard about the accident, he was very shaken for he truly loved his best friend. He felt very awful about his best friend's death but totally believed HaShem is Just.

A few weeks later his best friend Mordechai Pollack, zs'l, appears to him in a dream. His face was shiny and he seemed to glow with happiness. "I saw you were very saddened by my death," said Mordechai to Menachem, "and therefore, I came to cheer you up and tell you that immediately after my physical death, I was led into Gan Eden and Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai took me under his wing and entered me into his Yeshiva in Shamayim and I merited to continue learning Torah from the holy Rashbi. I merited this because I was very careful every Friday night to learn 2 Mikrah and 1 Targum in addition to explanations from Rashi, zs'l. For this I also merited that Rashi learns with me Torah."

Menachem was bewildered and asked his friend a few questions:
1. How is it they you were allowed entrance into Gan Eden without the process of being judged in Bet Din of Shamayim?
2. What was the reason that you and our 2 friends died in such a freak accident?
3. Why did you have to die so young?

Mordechai answered him that their death happened in Elul, right before Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur. There was a very harsh decree on a certain Yishuv in Israel and it destined to occur, r'l.

"Merciful HKB'H has so much mercy on His children, Am Israel, especially at the End of Days and it was decided in Shamayim that in exchange for the harsh decree, 4 men from the Yeshiva in Yerushalayim, with pure unblemished Neshamot, will instead die and annul this decree. That is the reason it happened at the end of the year, before the Yom HaDin of the following year. In the car that turned over and fell into the canyon, we were all instantly killed, the 3 students together with the driver. It was Divine Providence that we were all placed in the car at the same time and died and it was to atone the sins of Klal Yisrael. Also the boys that were severly hurt from the accident were included in Shamayim's account. Now, you can understand why our death gave us direct entrance into Gan Eden but you have a mind of a human, and therefore, you cannot begin to understand our happiness."

With that, Mordechai Pollack disappeared and that was the end of the dream. Menachem Levy woke up as if awaken by strong sea waves, he opened his eyes and thought a lot about the dream. For the next days, he relived the dream in his mind and what he saw, the shiny face of his friend that seems so happy.

But Menachem doesn't believe in dreams and thought that maybe the dream was given to him thru demons. He decided to do a dream question. In order to do this, a person has to prepare the body and mind spiritually and be very pure.

Menachem Levy prepared himself to do the dream question by doing to the Mikveh, fasting, and praying to HaShem to do him a chesed and return his friend Mordechai thru a dream so he can ask him a question. Unfortunately, Mordechai did not return that night and not the following night and not many nights after.

The uncertainty of the dream bothered Menachem tremendeously and all the time, his mind was occupied with uncertainty. But he did not give up and continued to purify himself and pray to HaShem to merit him to dream once more about his friend and to receive a clear answer to clarify his doubts. A year and a half passed from the day of the accident when Mordechai finally appeared again to Menachem in a dream.

Mordechai Pollack, z'sl, told him, "It was decreed in Shamayim that you must wait till you are deserving to have your wish fulfilled. In the meantime, to remove any uncertainty from your mind, I was commanded to give you two signs:
1. In 7 weeks you will get engaged with a very fine girl, her name is Devorah bat Shimon.
2. Three weeks after your engagement, Devorah's uncle who disappeared during the Holocaust and was thought to be dead, will reappear.

As soon as Menachem woke up, he wrote down all the details that Mordechai told him inside his notebook.

A few days later, a shidduch was offered to him with a girl that currently moved to Israel from Argentina. 7 weeks exactly since the dream, Mordechai and Devorah were engaged to be married. Her father's name is Shimon, exactly as Mordechai told him in the dream.

Devorah's uncle was sent to a death camp during the Holocaust and all tracks of him disappeared and the family gave up looking for him. Suddenly, exactly 3 weeks after the engagement, out of nowhere, the uncle appeared in his brother's home, Devorah's father, Shimon. He told them that after being sent to the death camp, he managed to run away and escaped into Russia. In Russia, he was sent to a labor camp for years. He was not permitted any communication with the outside world. In a miraculous way, he was freed not long ago and decided to go to Israel and to look for his family and b'h, and found them...

Menachem Levy's doubts were totally removed and he knew clearly that what his friend told him in the first and second dreams are truth. The 3 boys and the driver's death atoned and cancelled the decree on the Yishuv in Israel...

He was also told in the dream by Mordechai that we are the last generation and very soon, Moshiach will redeem us. Menachem kept this information to himself but finally decided to discuss it with his Rosh Yeshiva, whom confirmed it.

I, Tzvi Reuven, the author of the sefer, Otzar Hamaasiot, heard this story and attest to its authenticity. I added this amazing chizuk story because it just recently happened and want to strengthen Jews that Moshiach is very very close and will soon redeem us.

May it be HaShem's Will that we will all be redeemed in the complete Geula by Moshiach Tzidkenu and he should come speedily, amen.
