Miracles and Wonders

Chasdei shamayim I found 2 beautiful segulot which I can personally testify I saw amazing salvation and wanted to share with you, as follows:

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Merimanovben Yosef, zs'kl, promises:
"Whomever will light a candle in my honor every Tuesday, I will personally operate for his salvation"It is a great talisman for salvation in all areas, miracles and wonders, to light a candle in honor of the Tzaddik every Tuesday. Rabbi Meir Abuhatzera, zs'kl, said: "Just to mention the name of the Tzaddik already operates salvation."

The second talisman is lighting candles for
Rabbi Matya ben Charash, zs'kl.
From the Medrash Yalkut Shimoni, Vayechi

THE FOLLOWING STORY HAPPENED TO RABBI MATYA BEN CHARASH WHO WOULD ALWAYS BE SITTING IN THE BET HAMIDRASH ENGAGED IN TORAH STUDY AND THE BRILLIANCE OF HIS FACE RESEMBLED THE SUN AND THE APPEARANCE OF HIS FACE RESEMBLED THAT OF THE MINISTERING ANGELS, BECAUSE HE HAD NEVER RAISED HIS EYES TO LOOK AT WOMEN.

Once the Satan fixed his sight on this Tzaddik and said to himself: "Is it possible that this man does not sin? " Then the Satan went and asked G-d: "How do you consider Rabbi Masya Ben Charash?" And G-d replied: "He is a perfect Tzaddik" The Satan said to G-d: "Give me permission to put him to the test". G-d told the Satan: "Go".

The Satan appeared to the Rabbi as a beautiful woman the like of which there had never been in the world. When the Tzaddik saw he immediately turned his face away from the woman. Then the woman quickly moved to the side where Rabbi Matya had turned his face to, and he quickly again turned his face away from that woman. Then the Tzaddik said: "I am afraid that my Yetzer hara (evil inclination) will overpower me and will cause me to sin". What did the Tzaddik do? He called a student that was there with him and ordered him to bring him fire with nails. The student brought him nails and the Tzaddik put them to his eyes and became blind. When the Satan saw this he trembled and fell on his back.

At that time The Holy One Blessed be He called the angel Raphael (for he is in charge of healing) and told him: "Go and heal Rabbi Matya Ben Charash". Then Raphael came in front of the Rabbi and he asked: "Who are you?" and he replied: "I am Raphael the angel, I came for G-d sent me to cure your eyes". And Rabbi Matya replied: "Leave me alone, what is already done is what will be". Raphael returned before the Holy One Blessed be He and said: "Master of the World, thus spoke Matya". G-d said to him: "Go back to him and tell him that I will personally guarantee that the Yetzer Hara will have no power over him". Immediately Raphael went and cured Matya. From here Our Sages said: "All those that are careful not to look at women, the Yetzer hara has no power over them".

Light 18 candles in honor of Rabbi Matya Ben Charash and say Tehillim chapter 86 eighteen (18) times and ask for whatever you need - guaranteed, b'h, you will see miracles!!!!

Divine Providence

The brand new Rabbi and his wife were newly assigned to their first congregation to reopen a Shul in suburban Brooklyn. They arrived in early February excited about their opportunities. When they saw their Shul, it was very run down and needed much work. They set a goal to have everything done in time to have their first service on Erev Puirm. They worked hard, repairing aged pews, plastering walls, painting, etc, and on 8th of the Adar (February 17th) they were ahead of schedule and just about finished. On February 19 a terrible snowstorm hit the area and lasted for two days. On the 21st, the Rabbi went over to the Shul. His heart sank when he saw that the roof had leaked, causing a large area of plaster about 20 feet by 8 feet to fall off the front wall of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about head high. The Rabbi cleaned up the mess on the floor, and not knowing what else to do but postpone the Erev Purim service, headed home.

On the way home, he noticed that a local business was having a flea market type sale for charity, so he stopped in. One of the items was a beautiful, handmade, ivory colored, crocheted tablecloth with exquisite work, fine colors and a Mogen David embroidered right in the center. It was just the right size to cover the hole in the front wall. He bought it and headed back to the Shul. By this time it had started to snow. An older woman running from the opposite direction was trying to catch the bus. She missed it. The Rabbi invited her to wait in the warm Shul for the next bus 45 minutes later. She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the Rabbi while he got a ladder, hangers, etc., to put up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry. The Rabbi could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and it covered up the entire problem area.

Then the Rabbi noticed the woman walking down the center aisle. Her face was like a sheet. "Rabbi, "she asked, "where did you get that tablecloth?" The Rabbi explained. The woman asked him to check the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG were crocheted into it there. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had made this tablecloth 35 years before, in Poland. The woman could hardly believe it as the Rabbi told how he had just gotten "The Tablecloth".

The woman explained that before the war she and her husband were well-to-do people in Poland. When the Nazis came, she was forced to leave. Her husband was going to follow her the next week. He was captured, sent to a camp and never saw her husband or her home again. The Rabbi wanted to give her the tablecloth; but she made the Rabbi keep it for the Shul. The Rabbi insisted on driving her home. That was the least he could do. She lived on the other side of Staten Island and was only in Brooklyn for the day for a housecleaning job.

What a wonderful service they had on Erev Purim . The Shul was almost full. The Service was great. At the end of the service, the Rabbi and his wife greeted everyone at the door and many said that they would return. One older man, whom the Rabbi recognized from the neighborhood continued to sit in one of the pews and stare, and the Rabbi wondered why he wasn't leaving. The man asked him where he got the tablecloth on the front wall because it was identical to one that his wife had made years ago when they lived in Poland before the war and how could there be two tablecloths so much alike? He told the Rabbi how the Nazis came, how he forced his wife to flee for her safety and he was supposed to follow her, but he was arrested and put in a camp. He never saw his wife or his home again all the 35 years between.

The Rabbi asked him if he would allow him to take him for a little ride. They drove to Staten Island and to the same house where the Rabbi had taken the woman three days earlier. He helped the man climb the three flights of stairs to the woman's apartment, knocked on the door and he saw the greatest Erev Purim reunion he could ever imagine.

Based on a true story; God does work in mysterious ways!

Take 60 seconds and give this a shot! All you do is simply say the following small prayer:

"Hashem, bless all my friends and family in what ever it is that You know they may be needing this day! May their lives be full of Your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have a closer relationship with You. Amen."

The Tefillin

As per Tamar Yonah's request, the following true story was told by the Rabbi of the shul ...

After serving 3 long years in the Israeli army, he decided that it was time to travel the world and experience the freedom he so desperately needed. He packed his bags and kissed his family goodbye. At the airport his father handed him his Tefillin (phylacteries) bag and told him that even though it's been years since he last put on his Tefillin, he should start putting them on every day and this will be his protection. The son promised his dad that every morning regardless where he will be, he will put on the Tefillin.

A week passed, 10 days passed, 2 weeks passed, and finally the son called his family to let them know that everything's ok. His dad asked him if he puts on the Tefillin and the son assured his father that it's the first thing he does upon awakening up. The son continued with his travelling and from time to time called his family. In every phone conversation the father asked the son if he puts on Tefillin and the son would answer the same thing every time, "Yes father. I put on the Tefillin every morning".

Three months went by and the travel money was dwindling. The son called his father to send him more money and the father wanted to know if the son was putting on Tefillin. The son got angry at his father for asking the same question every time and hung up the phone angrily. Having no choice and no money, the son returned to Israel feeling that the sudden slash of his travel experience was his father's fault and decided that he is no longer speaking to his father.

A day after his return to Israel, his father asked the son if he put on Tefillin and the son yelled at his father that he puts it on everyday and to stop asking him the same question all the time. The father asked his son to give him the Tefillin bag and the son angrily handed it to him. The father's hand was shaking as he opened his son's Tefillin bag and suddenly out of the bag he pulled out a bundle of money. The father told his son, "If you would have put on the Tefillin as you said you did, you would have found the $5,000 I sent you for additional travelling expenses".

Since that day the son attends daily morning prayer and puts on his Tefillin. He hasn't missed one minyan since...

Showdown

Israel Independence Day, established on May 14, 1948, the 5th day of the Hebrew month of Iyyar, fell out this year on April 19, 2010. (The Jewish calendar follows the Lunar cycle calendar.)

On the evening of April 19, 2010, (the 6th of Iyyar; the Jewish day starts the night before), Fox News reports President Obama's decision that the U.S. will no longer automatically support Israel in the United Nations. Never before in U.S. history has a Presidential administration made such a declaration.

The next day, on April 20, 2010, the 6th of Iyyar, the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explodes, creating the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history, one of the largest in world history with no end in sight.

Besides the enormous environmental effect, the economic effect could reach $100 billion.

The long term health consequences of the spill & cleanup on the U.S. & global population remain unknown.

In the Book of Genesis (chapter 12, verse 2-3), G-d tells Abraham, "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse ... ."

The Great Miracle of the Volcano Shutdown

A universal crisis, millions of people stranded, billions of dollars lost, and one volcanic eruption in Iceland causes chaos across the European continent. Within all these tumult, one Jew merits a smile of loveliness from the Creator of the World, as if whispering to him - my son, the whole world was not created except for you כל העולם לא נברא אלא בשבילי.

The story begins with a young Yeshiva student, an 18 year old Yerushalmi, that came down with a fulminate hepatic failure and was mortally ill.

With little hope of receiving a liver transplant in Israel, Rav Firer sought to send the boy emergency to Brussels, the world center of liver transplants. The only problem however, is that Brussels under no circumstances transplants non-EU patients in order to save the scanty supply of livers for Europeans. Nevertheless, it was decided to send him to Brussels despite the full knowledge of negligible chance of receiving a liver.

The young Yeshiva student had no choice but to include his name to the long waiting list for a liver transplant. In the meantime, he tried to maintain his learning despite the illness, consciously aware that it will takes weeks, months, and even years till he will be able to be given a new liver. Many patients were on the waiting list, and his name was somewhere on the bottom... And when his turn does finally arrive, it must completely match his blood type and other medical criteria. If it's not a perfect match, he will need to continue waiting ... for a miracle.

However, רבות מחשבות בלב איש ועצת ה' היא תקום Many thoughts in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of HaShem shall stand. HaShem had a different plan for this young Yeshiva student and HaShem's loyal servants produced avalanches of hot ash, rock and gas on Europe, causing Europe to completely shut down its skies into a no-fly zone. No one can leave and no one can enter; a self-imposed siege in the euro zone skies. It is during this time that a young religious Yerushalmi man in the capital of Belgium is sitting in the yeshiva learning Torah.

During the course of the shut down airspace above Europe, a person dies in the hospital in the capital of Belgium, a person whom agreed to donate his liver to anyone that might need it. Astonishingly, a liver that is perfectly parametric for our young Yeshiva student.

Health authority of Belgium began searching the liver transplant waiting list but ‘unfortunately’, not even one patient was able to fly into Belgium for the very needed healthy liver transplant due to a volcanic eruption in Iceland.

As they advanced further on the waiting list, they reached the young Yeshiva student. However it was not offered to the boy due to his lack of citizenship. As the clock closed in on the deadline for time in which the the liver's lifespan for transplanting, the precious healthy liver cannot be wasted and must be swiftly replaced with a diseased liver, no one else was able to arrive in Belgium for the transplant except this young Yerushalmi.

With the clear Divine Intervention, this budding talmid chacham received the liver and is now recovering from surgery.

The enormity of this miracle was even greater after the successful liver transplant. The doctors said that the young yeshiva student's liver was very deteriorated and diseased and it was a matter of days his liver would stop functioning completely. The doctors unanimously believe that if this young man had to continue waiting for the liver transplant, he would have been long dead.

Anytime, Anywhere

It has been brought to my attention that there are unfortunately uneducated Jews who think that lighting a candle for Tzaddikim other than on their Yartzeit day is chas vechalila idolatrous practice.

The following is proof that it has always been the Jewish tradition to light candles for loved ones and Tzaddikim anywhere and anytime:

מנהג ותיק ועתיק בישראל להדליק נר לזכר נשמת קרובים וצדיקים בבחינת 'נר ה' נשמת אדם'
It is an old tradition among Jews to light a candle in memory of loved ones and Tzaddikim, in the aspect of "'נר ה' נשמת אדם' The soul of a person is the candle of HaShem.

Rabbeinu Bechaye, zs'kl, writes in Parshat Teruma: And it is known that the soul enjoys when a candle is lit and is attracted to the light.

רבי נחום מצרנוביל אומר: "שמדליקים נר לנשמת הצדיק אורו מגיע למקום
Rabbi Nachum of Charnevil, zs'kl, says: "When lighting a candle for the soul of the Tzaddik, his light reaches the place where the candle is being lit".

The Ben Ish Chai, zs'kl, writes: "The neshama has pleasure from the light. When a person is lighting a candle, he should say 'I'm lighting this candle for Ploni ben Ploni. Thru this verbalization, the pleasure will reach this person no matter the distance".

Ben Ish Chai continues: Know also that in the light of the candle there are five variations which are in exchange for the 5 parts of the Nefesh: Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Chaya, and Yechida. Therefore, the light of the candle is compared to the neshama and the neshama gains much pleasures from the candle being lit for him."

נוהגים להדליק נר לעילוי נשמת נפטרים ויש בזה משום כבודם, שמדליקים ללכבודם אור נר
(משנה ברורה סימן תרי סעיף קטן יב).

It is customary to light candles for the deceased le iluy their souls, to light in their honor. (Mishne Brura)

אפשר להדליק נרות לעילוי נשמות הצדיקים בכל עת ובכל זמן, ולבקש מהקב`ה שבזכות הצדיק יקבל הקב`ה את התפילה.
You can light candles le iluy nishmot of the Tzadikim anytime and anywhere and ask HKB'H in the zchut of the Tzaddik, HKB'H will accept your prayers.

From Mexican Priest to Rabbi...

The following is the captivating story of Rabbi Yehudah Peretz Shlita, a former priest from Mexico...

It's not that I'm a Tzaddik (righteous person) that I merited to convert to Judaism; it's more that in my previous life I ruined so much. After my conversion to Judaism, it led me to the autistic Ben Golding. After meeting with Ben, I asked Rav Kanievsky Shlita if he approves of the facilitated communication with the autistic and if I'm permitted to distribute my story and the Rav answered, "Yes, distribute it and know that it's a Mitzvah".

When my wife, Roni (an Israel-born Jew), and I went to Ben for the first time, he told us extraordinary things. Roni asked Ben why she needed to marry a convert and not a regular Jew and Ben answered her that it was her that requested and pleaded for it. Not understanding Ben's answer, Roni asked Ben to explain. Ben told us that we were a married couple in our previous lives, right before the Holocaust.

When Roni met her future husband, Rav Yehudah, for the first time, she was not religious and was not looking to marry a convert. On their first date, she felt she knew this person from someplace but she did not know from where. She was certain that she never met him before since he grew up in Mexico and their worlds were as different as day and night. She was an Israeli born Jewess and he was a Mexican priest. As time when by and Roni got to know me better, we both felt very emotionally involved deep in our souls.

Ben revealed to the couple they were a married couple in their previous lives and lived in Europe. They both came from Orthodox families and when they married, they completely abandoned Judaism. Together they joined the university and with their many friends, went to the opera and continuously searching materialistic contentment. Both caused much pain to their parents to a point where both of the parents sat Shiva (mourning) for them. Ben said that it was Roni whom influenced her husband and others to seek worldly pleasures.

When World War II began, both were murdered in the holocaust. Before dying, Roni had many misgivings for all the sins she committed and at the last minute before her death she did Teshuva. But Rav Yehudah did not have the time to do Teshuva before dying.

Ben also told them what happened in the Heavenly court...

Because of their sins, the Heavenly court decided that Rav Yehudah's punishment was to reincarnate as a non-Jew and will need to make efforts to return to Judaism. For Roni it was ruled that she will return to earth to correct her past sins but because she did Teshuva at the last second, Roni was permitted to return as a Jewess. When Roni heard her husband's strict punishment, she begged and cried to the Heavenly court that they grant her permission to meet with her reincarnated husband in order to help him convert into a Jew.

When Ben revealed all this, Roni began crying excitedly because she felt he was saying the truth.

Both my wife and I feel very connected to what Ben revealed to us. I never had inner peace as a non-Jew and my wife Roni, never felt connected to her family. She has more of Ashkenazi mentality though she was born into a Moroccan family. When I met her, she was a student in Bar Ilan University and not religious. Today we b'h both did Teshuva and we have 6 children and live in Kiryat Sefer.

Yosef HaTzaddik's Hillula

* Yosef HaTzadik, zs'kl, (Joseph the Righteous) was the gilgul of Noach HaTzadik, zs'l. He returned as Yosef HaTzaddik to correct the Brit HaKodesh (Holy Covenant).

* Yosef HaTzadik was not born handsome and as he grew up, he was an average-looking teenager. When Yaakov Avinu, zs'l, met with his brother, Esav, Yosef HaTzadik was afraid that Esav will see his beautiful mother, Rochel Imenu, a'h, and will want her. Therefore, he stood in front of her covering her beauty. As a reward for protecting his mother, he instantly became very handsome.

* Yaakov Avinu took the birthright away from Reuven, a'h, and gave it to Yosef HaTzaddik. (Bava Batra 86:6, 123a).

* After the brothers, a'h, sold Yosef HaTzaddik, they regreted it and ran after the Midyanim to buy him back but were not able to catch up. The brothers blamed Yehudah and at that moment, it was decreed in Shamayim that Yehuda's wife and 2 sons will die, a'h.

* Yosef HaTzaddik, zs'l was 17 years-old at the time he was sold into slavery.

* The wife of Potifar had her servants tie down Yosef HaTzaddik and placed a metal brace around his neck with a sharp point right under his chin. Yosef HaTzaddik still refused to look at her and each time he would lower his head, it cut open his chin. This happened every single day for a period of a year, as it says "They bound his legs in rope and metal pierced his soul" Tehilim 105.

* The day Potiphar's wife tried forcing him to sin, he visualized the image of his father Yaakov Avinu, zs'l, and meditated on the name containing the Mystery of the Ketonet Pasim. This was the last thing his father had taught him. With this he overcame his desires as he stabbed his fingers and toes in the ground placing his full weight on them until the desire left him.

* Potiphar visited Yosef HaTzaddik in prison and knew that Yosef HaTzaddik was innocent. He was afraid to speak up because his wife was a very powerful woman and was afraid that Pharoah would place him in prison.

* Yitzchak Avinu, zs'l, was living in Hevron at the time and he knew thru Ruach HaKodesh that Yosef HaTzaddik is alive in Egypt but he did not reveal it to his son, Yaakov Avinu.

* Yosef HaTzaddik was in prison for 12 years and the prisoners would abuse him daily because of Potiphar's wife. HaShem caused for 2 important ministers to err so Pharoah would throw them in jail. This caused the prisoners to stop abusing Yosef HaTzaddik and instead, to talk about the 2 jailed government ministers.

* The wife of Potifar would constantly sneak into jail and continued tempting him, offering him freedom and money. She had him tortured when he refused.

* When Yosef HaTzaddik was released from jail he received an incarnation of the soul of Chanoch ben Yered, a'h (who became the angel Matatron). That same night the angel Gavriel appeared to Yosef HaTzaddik and taught him 70 languages.

* When Yosef HaTzaddik became ruler over Egypt, the daughters of kings would peek out of the lattices and pelt him with jewelry and rings so that he would look at them - but he did not look. Every day he saw daughters of kings - sometimes adorned, sometimes perfumed, sometimes unclothed - but he did not allow himself to be tempted.

* Because Yosef HaTzaddik did not give in and won the battle, he earned the title Yosef Hatzadik, Tzadik Yesod Alom.

* The rape of Dina bat Yaakov, a'h, by Sh'chem ben Chamor, produced Osnat, a'h. Yaakov Avinu gave Osnat a scarf with HaShem's holy name on it and sent her to live in Egypt. When Yosef HaTzadik became ruler of Egypt, Osnat threw the scarf on him and that's how he knew she was a Jewess. They married and from their union, Menashe and Efraim, zs'l, were born.

* When the Jews wanted to cross the Yam Suf (red sea), it refused to split until it saw the coffin of Yosef HaTzaddik.

* Rabeinu Yosef Chaim's (Ben Ish Chai , zs'l) soul was rooted in the soul of Yosef Hatzadik.

* Yosef Hatzadik's soul returned as one of the Asara Harugei Malchut (Ten Martyrs), (an incident which took place after the destruction of The Second Temple), Rabbi Yishmael Kohen Gadol, zs'l, was the reincarnation of Yosef Hatzadik.

* Gematria numberic value 217, same as אני יוסף, I'm Yosef, same gematria value Devorah דבורה (HaNevia, a'h). She was from Shevet Efraim and was Moshiach ben Yosef of her generation.

* Gaon of Vilna, zs'l, says that Esther HaMalka, a'h, descendant of Binyamin, zs'kl, was Moshiach ben Yosef of her generation.

* פותח את ידך ומשביע לכל חי רצון "You open Your hand, and satisfy every living thing according to their needs".
לכל חי רצון - Roshei Tevot RoCHel, all in the merit of Rochel Imenu, a'h.

* Moshiach ben Yosef is the secret of the Ox.

* “Yosef’s bones, which the children of Israel had brought up from Egypt, was buried in Shechem”. Why Shechem? R. Chama the son of R. Chanina, zs'l, taught, “From Shechem he was kidnapped him and so to Shechem his lost body must be returned.” (Sotah 13b)

* The city of Shechem, is the secret of Yosef, who corresponds to the sefirah Yesod. This is why Shechem was given to Yosef HaTzaddik [and his descendants) for his attribute is Yesod."

Yosef Hatzadik's Hillula is today Rosh Chodesh Aleph Tamuz (June 23, 2009).
May the merits of Yosef HaTzaddik protect us all, Amen.

Birkat Hachama

Kadosh Elyon האדמו"ר מאסטראווצע, zs'kl, author of Meir Enei Chachamim, wrote 200 years ago the third time that Am Israel will bless the sun on Wednesday, 14 of Nissan will be in the year 5769, and adds, "This will be last time ever and shortly afterwards, the Geula MUST come, b'h!".

One might ask, "What about the additional times when Birkat Hachama fell on 14 Nissan?" My husband and I pondered over this and my husband suggested that the reason the Rav only mentions only 2 Birkat Hachama is because both were connected to redemptions.
(1) The miracle of being redeemed from Egypt, and;
(2) The miracle of Purim.

Birkat Hachama prior to being redeemed from Egypt was on Wednesday, Nissan 14, 2447 and the following year Nissan 15, 2448 at midnight Am Israel left Egypt.

Birkat Hachama prior to the miracle of Purim was Wednesday, Nissan 14, and Rashi, zs'kl, writes that the following year, in Adar, the decree to kill the Jews was annulled, and our enemies perished.

From here we learn that both Birkat Hachama were connected to redemption, and both redemptions occurred within a year. Although we believe everyday that Moshiach will come today, but if it will take about a year for the final redemption to arrive, nonetheless we will not lose hope and continue to eagerly await his arrival.

החוט המשולש לא במהרה ינתק
The triangular thread will not quickly sever.

The third and final time we will bless the sun before the year 6000 on Wednesday 14 of Nissan will be b'h next week.

Birkat Hachama is a critical time of judgment for Am Israel. Before leaving America, my husband merited to see the Tzaddik Nistar once more. He told my husband in order to sweeten the judgment on this very critical day, one should observe תענית דיבור (no talking) till after Birkat Hachama.

B'h may we all see tremendeous miracles, Amen ve Amen.

The End

My name is Moshe Levy and I used to live in Paris, France. I used to go to lots of discotheques but not only that, I also gave dancing lessons. I used to ride my bike a lot and one day as I was riding my bike, I felt very hot and sweaty. When I finally got to my parent's house, I collapsed into bed, and my whole body was dripping with water like a faucet and that's when I died.

My neshama left my body and from above I saw my family yelling in fear because I died. Suddenly something like a vacuum sucked my Neshama and I flew upwards and while flying, I heard beautiful music and felt happiness. The further I went upwards, the smaller the lower world looked. I was flying like a rocket upwards.

I was placed in a very dark place, in total darkness and quietness and was all alone. The darkness was very very thick and if I had a knife, I'd have been able to slice the darkness. The darkness was very heavy and choking and I was able to even hold the darkness. It was a form of a punishment I never dreamed about. I was choking and yelled with all my strength, 'where am I? What is going on? Take me out of here.' A voice answered, "This is your punishment for being an egoist. You liked everything for yourself, never considering other people; therefore, this is your punishment. Here you can be an egoist, everything is only for you. Measure for measure."

After a while, I saw smoky figures flying towards me. They were very scary and white smoke was coming out of their eyes. They were yelling at me, "Woe, woe, woe to you" and I saw more troops of white forms coming at me, yelling. I tried hiding but they kept coming at me, surrounding me and yelling loudly, "Woe, woe, woe to you". I felt they wanted to hang me dead. Suddenly they all became silent and an old man appeared to me. He had a white beard and looked very beautiful. He looked so gentle and it was a real pleasure just to look at him. I understood he was an important holy man, a Tzaddik, because everyone was silent when he entered. He told the white smoke figures to leave me alone and I saw they were afraid of him and respected his wishes.

Who was this Tzaddik? It was my grandfather, Rabbi Yitzchak Tayeb, zs'kl. I asked him, 'where am I? What's going on here? Everything is so strange. Am I up or down? Am I alive or dead?’ My holy grandfather answered, "This is the world of truth - till now you lived in the world of lies and now you are in the world of truth."

Suddenly he took out his walking stick that he used to have while he was alive and grabbed my throat with it. It was hurting me so much and I was petrified. He told me, "You did bad things in the lower world. You ruined people; you put them to sleep with your discos and tennis. This is what you do to me? Huh????" I told him, "Grandfather, you don't need to yell at me, we are family, I am your grandson and you are my grandfather." He said that in the world of truth there is no grandfather/grandson. I asked him to remove the stick from my neck but he refused and pulled it even harder. I asked him if I was his animal and he replied, "You are worse than an animal. This is the world of truth and it's a very serious world. There are no games or lies in this world."

"You are in terrible trouble in this world; your situation is very difficult. Let's begin with the little things you did. You were sent to Talmud Torah and did you ran away from the school?" I replied that I never did that. At that moment, a gigantic screen was shown of me running away from the Talmud Torah. Again I was asked, 'did you ran away from the Talmud Torah and curse your teacher?' I saw that I had no choice but to admit the truth. I asked so what if I ran away from the Talmud Torah and cursed my teacher? They replied, "It was not just a teacher, it was a Rav - an important person! You must apologize to the Rav for cursing him!" I didn't understand why I had to apologize; I remember he ran after me so I ran even faster. They replied, "He ran after you to save you, he wanted to help you. He wanted to teach you the Aleph Bet Gimel Daled to prepare you for your Bar Mitzvah in order to do HaShem's will. And what did you do? You ran away, you threw it all away and grew up without it."

They asked me what I did with my limbs? I answered that with my hands I did karate, kung fu, and tennis. They said, 'this is what you brought with you to this world? Did you use your hands to give Tzedaka to the poor?" I replied that I don't know what is Tzedaka and was never taught this. They asked me if I ever helped an elder person cross the street, did I ever do any Mitzvot? I remembered that when I was younger I used to go almost daily to an old age home and talk to the elders. I used to give them water or open the window for them to give them fresh air- it was so minor but in the world of truth, it was something concrete, something worthy.

They knew that I did Bikur Cholim but they wanted me to say it - it is a form of pain in Shamayim. When I told them about this Mitzvah, they began speaking to me in a more gentle voice. I told them that one day when I was about 16-17 years old an elderly man placed Tefillin on me in the old age home and it felt so good and although I didn't understand the words and was only looking at the Sefer, it caused me to get very emotional and cry. I loved this feeling and didn't want it to ever leave me.

They said that because this was done with the right hand, the right hand will not get punished.

They asked, 'what did you do with your mouth?" I replied, "I know many jokes, I'm a comedian." The second I said jokes, the entire world went dark! Everything went back to the thick and heavy darkness and I didn't know how to turn the light back on. I yelled, 'what's wrong, why is it so dark here, I'll tell you a joke.' As I was saying the joke, I felt small snakes inside my mouth. I couldn't see them but felt my mouth full of snakes. It was so disgusting. I understood that jokes were no good and shut my mouth.

They told me that I spoke lots of Lashon Hara. Suddenly, I felt a big machine inside my mouth and was being operated on. I felt as if 1,000 dentists were working on my mouth and I was in tremendous pain. I asked, "What do you want from me?" They told me, "Listen, soon you will return to the world of lies, the lower world. You will not return the same way any more - you will not dare say one bad word, jokes, riddles, and lashon hara. You will be very serious." I immediately agreed and the machines and dentists were removed from my mouth.

They asked, "What did you do with your eyes?" I replied, "Theaters, I saw many movies, girls..." I wanted to show them my little black book and at that moment, the lights were shut off again. I was again in total heavy and thick darkness and I heard something like a long train shouting. I was petrified. It was someone who was very very angry with me and would not forgive me. He was as big as a train and he showed me only his face. I saw his face was gigantic and full of eyes. He came closer to me and wanted to rip me apart. I was petrified and asked what is this 'thing'? I was told, this is the world of truth and it's the angel of death."

He came very close to me, next to my face. He said to me, "I'm not the one to blame. It's your fault. You created me. You looked and looked and looked and from this I was created." Every one of his eyes was scarier than the previous one. I was so scared. I asked him why he is staring at me and he replied, 'I am staring at you the same way you stared at the girls. You created me every time you stared at a girl and I belong to you and you belong to me.' Measure for measure.

It seemed eternal the way he was staring at me and I was so petrified. Imagine your worst enemy staring at you and all you want is for him to go away, to leave, and to disappear. It was like having your worst 1,000 enemies staring at you, ready to tear you apart. The time seemed like 20 years.

I understood that I must correct my ways and protect my eyes. I realized that what I did was wrong and I thought to myself if I'm enabled to return to the world of lies, the lower world, I will change my ways. As soon as I had this thought in my mind, the angel of death disappeared but my suffering was far from over. Suddenly both my eyes were removed from my soul and it was sliced into thin thin pieces and it became like tiny pieces of papers. It was so painful and the shame I was feeling is indescribable. I felt like my neshama turned into powder and was being thrown all around. I wanted to die but I was already dead.

They suddenly returned the soul to me and asked me, 'what did you do with your ears?" I replied that I used to listen to lots of music. They yelled at me, "For music you did Bitul Torah?" They yelled extremely loud in my ear and I felt like a 1,000 microphones were inside my ear popping out my eardrums. My eardrums literally popped out and it was so painful. I remember this pain as if it just happened. The volume of the microphones in my ears is indescribable. They told me that the punishment is measure for measure. I went to discos and caused others to sin, this is my punishment and they will decide for how long.

They asked me, "What did you do with your legs?" Meanwhile, my ears, mouth, and eyes were simultaneously still suffering and I couldn't even concentrate on their question. I was so confused but knew that I had better answer the question. I answered, "I used to jog and run." They told me, "Begin running now." I wasn't sure where to run and they said repeated, 'RUN!' I began running and behind me I saw a large snake coming at me like a speeding car. His mouth was so big and he wanted to swallow me. I yelled that the snake should disappear. Instead, they told me, "You liked running so now run for your life because he wants to swallow you. Measure for measure. Running for nothing is not the purpose of the lower world and this is your punishment."

They asked me, "What did you do with your hands?" They said that they have a problem with my hands because of my fingers. They asked me, "What did you do with your fingers?" They told me that there are 2 people here that have major complaints against me. I asked who and it then that I saw my grandmother. She came screaming loudly, "Thief, robber, thief." I said that's my grandmother and they said there is no grandmother/grandson in Shamayim, here she has complaints against you. She again yelled, "Thief, robber, thief." They told and showed me how I stole a small piece of chocolate from her. When I was 10 years old, I saw in her refrigerator a small piece chocolate and Gd have mercy on me, I took it without permission and ate it without blessing it. I was shown on the big screen stealing her small piece of chocolate and eating it without a Bracha. They yelled at me, "Chuzpan - you steal food and dare to eat without a Bracha! Shame on you!! Your grandparents taught you to say blessings and what do you do in return? Steal from them and not say Bracha." My grandmother said that it's not her problem that I did not say a blessing, her problem with me is that I stole her chocolate. At the time, she was excitedly planning to give this piece of chocolate to a toddler but instead I stole it away from her. She said that I killed her and repeated it several times.

They took me to an abandoned home and I see people freely entering and leaving this abandoned house. There are many houses like the one I saw in the world of truth and inside them live lost souls and it's a form of a punishment. There is no floor inside the house, only dust and the souls walk on it. This is their home and I was placed in the middle of this house and I saw them walking in couples and all were coming towards me, surrounding me. They were yelling at me, "Thief, robber, thief." One of them I recognized because when I was younger and lived in the lower world, I took his girlfriend away from him. He was very angry with me. I recognized another soul and remembered that I once borrowed his pen and never returned it back to him. I saw a set of parents sitting like it was 9 B'Av. I asked what happened to this couple and was told that I caused these parents much suffering. I took their children to dancing classes and discotheques. And the pained parents cried every day and night worried why their children did not come home. They blamed me for ruining their children. They yelled at me, "Leave, you wicked person." They threw things on me, whatever came to their hands.

Suddenly, everyone left and it was quiet. I saw a distant light and it was very hot. I became hot, very hot. I went towards the hot light but it wasn't light - it was Gehenom! I saw gigantic bursts and flames of fire - it was about 30 meters (75 feet) of burning fire. I saw an enormous clock hanging and the seconds were ticking very loudly, boom - boom - boom. I understood that very soon at 12 midnight, they were coming to take me inside this hell fire. They were going to kill me and I am no longer alive. I was petrified watching the seconds tick away so loudly and it was so close to midnight, I wanted to die. I realized that I am a dead man and they have every right to burn me.

They asked me, "What did you do with your Brit Milah?" I couldn't concentrate because the seconds were so close to midnight and I was suffering so much. I was trying not to concentrate on the clock but rather on their question but I couldn't remove my thoughts away from the ticking clock. It caused me so much indescribable pain. They again asked, "What about your Brit Milah and zera levatala (seminal emission)? What about all the females you went with?" They spoke to me very aggressively. I understood that I'm in a terrible situation and there was no way I will be able to get out of it. They told me to get inside immediately because I'm Tameh (impure). They forcibly took me inside the room, it was a small room. Inside the room I saw a small angel with a warped face of a mongoloid - he was very scary looking. He said to me, "You created me and now I have the desire to rip you apart." I saw his fingers like skeleton and on each of his fingers semen was dripping. He told me that every time I touched myself and had seminal emission, it created this. He wanted to rip out my soul, to scrape my soul out with his dripping pointy fingers. He came closer to me and that was it. I was finished. I no air to breathe. I was dead.

I don't want to begin to describe what happens to a person that touches his Brit Milah! OY VAY VOY!!!! And oy to the person who is offered a Shidduch and refuses. He told me to tell everyone in the lower world, "Tell them that whomever thinks he has time, there is NO time, he must act quickly in these Mitzvot!" He told me that I must tell everyone and this is my Tikkun and if I don't act quickly to notify people, he will quickly finish me off. He warned me never to touch myself ever again and if I have a problem, talk to HKB'H. He warned me that every Shidduch I'll be offered, not to refuse it. HaShem will send me a bride and he warned me not to listen to other people's opinions. Do only HaShem's will.

He suddenly removed his black coat and I saw his body was full of pus dripping from inside his body. It was blood, it was red like blood. I saw sperm dripping on his body and he told me that each drop of sperm on his body is a baby I murdered. He wanted to come closer to me and attach all the Tumaa onto me and I shriveled in fear. I didn't want him touching me with all the pus, blood, and sperm. I knew that if this thing touches me, I'll never be able to live again. There is nothing more disgusting that this creature. I was horrified that I created him. I told him that if and when I will be allowed to return to the lower world, I promise that I'll make my utmost effort never to touch myself ever again. I also promised never to look at girls.

As soon as I said this, the door opened up and they took inside the darkness. I was floating upwards and I saw a distance light and as I was approaching it, I saw a circle of holy men learning Torah. It was a gigantic hall full of warm light and the Tzaddikim were discussing my judgment. I understood that my fate is in the hands of these holy men and there was nothing I can do. They were debating whethere I'm a Tzaddik or a wicked man. I became so crazed and begged them to stop but they didn't hear me. I saw 2 big angels stating I was a wicked man. I was petrified and I yelled with all my might, "I want to do Teshuva, I want to do Teshuva" From the fear, I began crying and continued yelling that I want to do Teshuva.

Suddenly everything stopped and I saw the most awesome light appearing and said, "I love you, I love you." It was Ishtabach Shemo La'ad. He Himself appeared. HaShem is so humble, so modest. HKB'H is not looking for honor. HaShem told me, (for those that can understand it) "Wherever you go, whatever you do, mention Me. Tell people about Me in your workplace, mention Me to people. I want people to talk about Me, to know that I Am the King and I Am in charge, not them. Tell them what happened to you and what will happen to you."

They took me to a black city - it was a dark city. I saw thru the darkness someone eating bread without first washing his hands (Netilat Yada'im). I saw gigantic angels coming at that instant to this person and they removed his soul out of his body and tore it apart. They took me to the sea and I saw a 30 meter angel that wore very strange clothing. He looked like an enormous king kong and I was so tiny and he drowned me in the water till it was no longer possible for me to breathe. He took me out of the sea water for a few seconds only to return me back inside the water. This kept going on and on. I asked the angel why he is doing this to me and he answered that this is my punishment for not doing Netilat Yada’im. He told me that my parents and grandparents taught and explained to me why and how to do Netilat Yada’im but I ignored it. Measure for measure. After a long time, they returned me to the world of souls.

I entered Gehenom and inside I saw many young boys and girls dancing while holding sticks of fire in their hands. I understood that each one gets a turn but I didn't know what is waiting for them. Suddenly a large door opened up and an angel came out, catching one of the souls and throwing him into the fire. You don't want to know what is going on inside, HaShem Yerachem. Yelling and terrible odor, sweat, and the soul can't take the suffering. I remember a terrible odor of excrement - boiling disgusting excrement. It was the most unpleasant smell to the nose and makes the soul suffer tremendeously. Suddenly they took my neshama and threw it and I saw myself flying and boooooom - it was terrible. I saw 4 angels coming from all 4 directions and they were hitting me hard with sticks. I asked why am I getting beaten up and they replied, "Sir, you will have children and if you will not educate them to Talmud Torah, you are finished."

They showed me what happens a person that damaged his Brit Milah, HaShem Ishmor. He damaged his Brit so much, blood started coming out it and it was very very painful for him. They said, "This is his punishment. All these pain and blood that comes out of his Brit will come to the world of truth and these are the babies crying. All the sperm that was ejaculated turns into angels of destruction and they wait in the person's grave till the person dies and they eat up his body. Every wasted drop that the man caused turns into an angel of destruction and each drop is counted for. Measure for measure. A person needs to think a million times before chas vechalila touching himself.

I saw a woman running in that black dark city. The angels of destructions were running after her and she was running in fear away from them. She was so petrified, her dress fell off and she was totally undressed. What does it mean she was naked? She had no Mitzvot to wear and was worthless, not even worth a penny. Someone who doesn't do any Mitzvot, even the simplest Mitzvah is totally naked. She was screaming HELP HELP but no one came to help. Suddenly, HaShem Ishmor, the destructing angels forcibly placed her in a black room and barbers were waiting to shave off all her hair. They placed her in a large blackest pot and the black angels in the black room with all its black walls beat her up because she caused men to sin. I saw she regretted all her sins but it was too late and now she was worthless. She was so black and shriveled - she looked like a piece of rag.

When I was 16-17, I put on Tefillin with an elderly man in the old age home, and in this merit, I was permitted to be taken out of this horrific room. When I came out, I kept vomiting, including my intestines. I felt dead, I was a dead nothing. My Neshama emptied out and I was dead. I cannot describe this - it is so awful.

I saw 2 Malachim going towards rooms and more rooms. I understood that these are court rooms. They showed me my holy uncle that suffered a lot in the lower world. He knew everything and I saw him going with the 2 angels and he proceeded silently to the second floor. I said to him, "Uncle" but he did not respond. The 2 angels closed the door behind him and stood over me. I understood that my uncle suffered in the lower world, he had cancer but he suffered quietly, never complaining. Suddenly my uncle yelled out "You shamed me, you shamed me." I asked him how I shamed him and he replied, "You told the community that I do not know how to read and you shamed me." From this shame, he did not return to the shul and missed prayers. He stayed in his house with his wife until his dying day. I realized I killed him. He told me that now it's time for my punishment and I began crying, "Uncle, you are my uncle. I used to come to your house." He said there is no uncle/nephew in Shamayim and now it's a soul against a soul! The 2 angels showed me the punishment for the shame of my foolish talking about my uncle. I understood that talking can literally kill a person.

They took me to rooms full of steel machinery. People were tied down tight to these machines and there was a large knife that slices a person like a bread slicer. The angles have plenty of time and they slice the person slowly. It was so painful to even watch. I asked them why I have to watch this and they replied that the pain I caused people from my talk is worser than watching people getting sliced. This punishment is measure for measure for shaming another.

I saw a tiny angel with a face of a dog and there were many dogs behind him flying like an airplane straight at me. It was like a war against me and they caught my soul. Their mouths were like a sharp needle (something like a concord's front beak) and they were barking loudly except it sounded like chickens. I cannot describe it. They went straight for my neshama and sliced me. I died. But the angels resurrected me again and I was crying, I didn't want to go thru this again. But again I went thru it.

Sometimes a neshama of a Sephardic needs to learns with a neshama of an Ashkenazi but the parents or the Rabbanim of the Yeshivot will not allow them to study Torah together. They don't begin to know how they ruin the children! And it also ruins the Achdut (unity). It's prohibited to separate Am Israel. HaShem is very angry at this and the people who cause separations between the Ashkenaz and Sephardic suffer a lot in Gehenom because they cause the children to suffer. Someone who thinks they control the world, suffers tremendously! I saw the suffering they go thru and they don't have Gan Eden, HaShem Ishmor. HaShem runs the world, not humans! HKB'H wants unity, not separations!

They showed me a woman who used to reveal her chest and caused men to sin. HaShem Ishmor. I saw an extremely large bear coming at this woman and he caught the woman by her breasts and hanged her breasts on steel pipes and her body was in extrutiating pain. Blood was coming out of her breasts and she was yelling in pain.

Women that wear provocative clothing, including so-called modest tight clothing that reveal the shape of her body, I saw how they suffer in the world of truth. She goes to gehenei Gehenom as well as the store owner! The Creator of the World hates immodest women! A person that sells immodest clothing is secluded in pain. There are many rooms for people that sell immodest clothing. In these rooms, they are secluded. They cannot move or speak.

Oy to women that wear these kind of clothing, those wigs, and think they are religious while walking the streets and showing strange men their beauty. And meanwhile, her poor husband is in the Kollel but he too will get Gehenom! Whomever does not believe, can ask me personally. I'll meet with him and tell him why he will be placed in Gehenom, r'l. He gave his wife permission to seduce strange men! Who gave him such permission???? First of all, he should abandon his Gemara and come home and clean out his wife's closet, the tight clothing, the revealing shirts, the short skirts with slits, the wigs. They are worse than the seculars. Shamayim told me this! A secular woman goes out totally immodest so she is unfortunate because she knows no better. But the religious women go out on purpose to attract strange men's attention. She walks the streets with her baby carriage and makes all kind of poses and her clothing are very attractive and she attracts attention, r'l. You see her body thru the clothing and you start having all kinds of imaginations. In Shamayim, this is loathed because it's obstructive. The Creator of the World is angry at this!

And the wigs they wear are a joke - they wear someone else's hair. And those beautiful big hats that seek attention. In short, whatever the woman wears that is conspicuous and causes men to look at her, she is in trouble - she is finished! A woman should dress like a queen inside her home only for her husband to enjoy and outside she should wear baggy clothing not to cause even one man to look at her. A woman who does this is a Tzaddeket! How dare a woman go out of her house with a wig or an immodest kerchief that reveals her hair? It's scary. In the world of truth, it's real fear, deathly fear. She attracts half the city and the most important thing to her is to be beautiful outside her home. In Shamayim, she will not be beautiful! Black angels will place her in a large black pot in a black room with its black walls and they will burn her because of her wig. She went out in the streets with a purpose that men should look at her, therefore, she has no merits!

I saw a woman that revealed her legs and for her punishment, they caught her by legs and threw her like she was a rag and they hung her upside down on steel pipes and blood drips down and she is yelling for help but there is no help for her.

For a person that hears Lashon Hara, they catch him by his ear and hang him by the ears.

I saw souls running to Harav Kook (zs'kl) begging him to save them from judgment. He walks them gently to Gehenom, suffering together with them of their judgment. He consoles them.

I saw people that had snow in their hands and I asked them why you have snow and they replied they are going to Gehenom and are taking snow to cool down from the heat of the fires of Gehenom. There is a place in Shamayim that snows and they steal the snow from there and in Gehenom they use the snow to rub on their bodies. I saw Rav Kook accompanying them into Gehenom and consoling them.

I saw people being buried and as soon as the burial is over, very hungry snakes and worms eat up the dead man's body. It's very scary. They come thru the mouth, nose, eyes, ears - it's truly scary and disgusting. Every limb that a person damages, the hungry snakes and worms have permission to eat it.

I was allowed to hear thru a hole from very far Tzaddikim sitting in Gan Eden. I was a wicked man and therefore, permission was not granted to come closer or to even view them. But I heard the happiness and it was happiness I cannot visualize. But it's worth to return to this world and to give up the path of sin just to be able to view this happiness. There was a thick wall with tiny holes and some have permission to view the Tzaddikim in Gan Eden thru the tiny hole. Just to view the Tzaddikim thru tiny holes gives the wicked people some sort of comfort from their punishments. All wicked souls that have permission to view the Tzaddikim regret how they wasted their lives on nonsense.

I was shown Gog UMagog. It was the scariest! So many planes were in the sky blowing up, there was no room for air. Thousands of planes all over America, England, France - it was a mess and very loud. The streets were packed with army vehicles and people were running in every direction. The world was violently shaking.

Suddenly I saw myself inside a Yeshiva and this was something new for me. I am sitting with learned men and I see that all the tables and their clothing are full of dust but the men continue to study Torah. I asked 'what is going on here' and they told me not to go outside but to remain inside with them. I saw that these men were very pure and holy and they understood that the end of the world has arrived. It's the end of the world! Outside the world is falling apart but they paid no attention, they were occupied with Torah. I understood that the Torah HaKadosha is protecting them. They told me that anyone who holds on to the Torah will be protected.

Shamayim saw that I wanted to do Teshuva and I understood that I must begin my Tikunim. They returned my soul back to my body and I found myself in the hospital's morgue in Paris. Thank Gd, they did not shut my box with nails so I was able to get out and I walked slowly into the hallway and was crying. Where is the Creator of the World? Where is everything I just saw? Everything just disappeared and I had no interest to talk to anyone. I wanted to go back to shamayim...

In the end a person takes with him to the world of truth only the Mitzvot he performed in the lower world. This is what the Creator of the World wants from us!

Fallen Angels

Like many Jews around the world, Moshe Benasher was glued to the screen, anxiously awaiting news from the once great - and now infamous - Nariman House.

From his Flatbush home, surrounded by his wife and three children, he tried to gather bits and pieces of information from outlets like CNN's Indian IBN channel and COLlive.

But when the ordeal came to a tragic end, he broke into tears."The only way I could respond was to compose a song about it," Benasher told COLlive. "I sat near the piano and was crying while writing the song. He calls his new 6 minute song 'Fallen Angels.'

Fallen Angels
She closed her eyes
He wiped her tears
He said Shema
It calmed his fears

He held her hand
Said it’d be alright
Knowing well they both could lose their life

And as my world watched it on the screen
We hoped and prayed and prayed again
That it would be a silent dream
But the dawn ushered in an unfamiliar light
The worst was heard confirmed

Now I cry to you, I lean on you,
my fellow Jew I ask of you

Chorus:
Tell me how do we say goodbye
to the angels that have fallen from our life
And how do we say goodbye
to the angels that have flown away at night

3500 siblings asking why
An orphan’s forced to cry
Mommy, Tatty hold my hand
One day I pray you’ll understand
The cowardly lion is not the king of the land.
But the question remains, I ask

Chorus:
Tell me how do we say goodbye
to the angels that have fallen from our life
And how do we say goodbye
to the angels that have flown away at night

Don’t judge me when I mourn
Today it’s me who’s torn
Don’t look at me
My tears are falling fast

They say it’s all a blessing in disguise
I can’t differentiate the lies from truth
What’s a mind to do

We were the super heroes of the night
We would illuminate the sky
They took away the torch but not your flame
What’s my mind to do
I will never forget you
I will light the sky from here to Mumbai
And nothing will ever look the same

Chorus:
Tell me how do we say goodbye
to the angels that have fallen from our life
And how do we say goodbye
to the angels that have flown away at night

Chassidim Never say goodbye
We want Moshiach Now

One Jew in India

Shabbat Parshat Lech Lecha in the year 5742, the revered Admor Sanz Klausenberg Rebbe, zs'kl, gave a shiur and during the shiur he foresaw the murder of the Kedoshim in Mumbay...

"Even one Jew that lives wherever in the world, amongst thousands, millions, or hundreds of million non-Jews, they know that there are Jews that do not believe in the the cross and neither in the bastard Muhammad, imach shemo. That in itself is a tremendeous thing.

"A Jew sanctifies HaShem wherever he is. Blessed HaShem wants all the non-Jews to know that there is one nation that does not belive in idols. The Gemara writes it explicitly and this is the purpose of the exile.

Four Fifths

Guest post by Reb Aryeh Shlita

We've all heard that during the plague of darkness in Egypt, directly preceding the redemption, at least four-fifths of the Jewish people perished. We have also heard that the final redemption will parallel the redemption from Egypt, thus leading us to conclude that at least four-fifths of our people will Chas V'shalom not make it to see the final redemption.

I have substantial evidence that shows that this will not be the case, and I would like to present it as both hope and a prayer that indeed all of our people merit to see the final redemption, speedily and in our days.

The most obvious and explicit statement of this was made by Rebbe Nachman, zs'kl. He makes it very clear that there was a fundamental difference between the redemption from Egypt and the final redemption. He explains that there was a factor in the Exodus of speed. It was this speed that was what caused the Jews to leave with haste, not leaving time for their dough to rise (see Exodus 12:39). It was also this speed, says Rebbe Nachman, that prevented four-fifths of our people from leaving Egypt. There just wasn't time to wait for the Spiritual slumberers to awaken. Unfortunately they had to pass away. (This could be because the Jews were then teetering on the edge of the 49th level of impurity, and any moment more that they would remain in Egypt would have caused the destruction of the entire Jewish nation, Heaven forbid.)

Rebbe Nachman says that the final redemption WILL NOT HAVE THAT SAME ASPECT. It may be true that the final redemption will happen quickly, but it will not be the required haste as was necessary when the Jews left Egypt. This will ensure that all Jews will be redeemed b'ezras Hashem.

A second source for this which is older, but not as explicit, is a medrash I heard quoted by Rav Kessin. It relays a conversation between Moshiach ben Yosef and Hashem. Moshiach ben Yosef has become aware of the possibility that many of the Jewish people will not make it through to the times of Moshiach. This upsets him greatly and he declares his readiness to do whatever it takes so that they should survive. Hashem responds and says that in order to save them, he will have to descend to the depths of impurity in order to save every last soul, as many of them will be entrenched in evil. He agrees to this, and as he is sent down into the spiritual abyss, Moshiach ben Yosef screams in horror at the depths of the depravity he encounters, but nevertheless does accomplish his goal.

One could explain this medrash that it is speaking on a spiritual level, and that Moshiach is saving these Jewish souls from spiritual destruction. However, when one understands the role of Moshiach ben Yosef, it then becomes apparent what is being spoken of. Moshiach ben Yosef's job is the physical restoration of the Jewish people (similar to his forebear Yosef Hatzadik, zs'kl, who provided physical sustenance to the Jews when they first came down to Egypt). Thus Moshiach ben Yosef's job includes bringing the Jews back to Israel, rebuilding the land, and even building the physical edifice of the third Beis Hamikdash (temple) itself. The role of Moshiach ben Dovid, on the other hand, is to bring the spiritual side into these physical constructs - the spirit back to the people, the holiness back to the land, and the Shechinah back to the Beis Hamikdash.

With this in mind, it becomes clear that when Moshiach ben Yosef is asking to save every last Jew, he is not just speaking about their spiritual existence, but rather, he is speaking about their physical existence as well.

Well, if this is true, you ask, why do we keep hearing that even during the final redemption many of our people will be lost, Heaven forbid?

I think the answer goes back to an argument we find in the Gemara in Rosh Hashana on pages 16b-17a.

The gemara there speaks of the Final Judgment that will take place and says that there are three groups on the Day of Judgment (similar to Rosh Hashana). A group of righteous individuals, wicked individuals, and middle of the road individuals. All agree that the righteous are immediately written and sealed for [Eternal] Life. The wicked are sentenced to Hell.

Here's where it gets interesting. What is with the 'middle of the road' class? So, in regards to Rosh Hashana, the gemara says that their judgment is suspended while they have ten days to do Teshuva (repentance). But in the final judgment, there doesn't seem to be a period of grace.

Beis Shamai says that these people are sent down to Hell [where they are purified], and then they float up. This is based on the verse (Zechariah 13), "And I will bring the third group through fire, and I will purify them as silver is purified [of its impurities], and I will check them as one who checks gold [for impurities]. He will call in My Name, and I will answer him." About this group did Chana say (I Shmuel 2), "Hashem kills and gives life, brings down to the depths [of Hell] and raises."

Doesn't sound too good, does it? Don't be too scared yet, because Beis Hillel argues.

Beis Hillel says that with regards to this group, ורב חסד מטה כלפי חסד - the One who is abundantly kind leans toward Kindness [i.e. Hashem shows kindness to the middle group, and does not send them into Hell.] About them did King David say (Psalms 116), "I love when Hashem hears my voice," as well as the rest of that parsha, including, "I was bereft, and He saved me." (These are the verses from Hallel - אהבתי כי ישמע ה' את קולי... דלותי ולי יהושיע)

It seems to me that Beis Shamai and Beis Hillel are arguing about our four-fifths of the Jewish people, and Beis Shamai says that they will have to do some time in Hell, whereas Beis Hillel says that there will be an overwhelming Kindness that Hashem will show His people.

Amazingly, the gemara there explains the verse דלותי ולי יהושיע, I was bereft, and He saved me - as meaning that despite the fact THAT I WAS BEREFT OF MITZVOS, to You [Hashem] it is beautiful to save me! Is there a clearer description of our four-fifths than that?

But what of Beis Shamai who says that the middle-of-the-road class of people don't make it? The answer is that the halacha is like Beis Hillel until Moshiach comes. Only when Moshiach comes do we go in accordance with the views of Beis Shamai. Since the judgment we are talking about is occurring BEFORE Moshiach, it is clear that this four-fifths of the Jewish people will survive in accordance with Beis Hillel's ruling!

This also explains why the autistic individuals are saying that there will be such mayhem and destruction before Moshiach chas v'shalom - because they are 'living in the world of truth!' In their world, all they see is a world of Din (pure judgment) and thus they see the ruling of Beis Shamai. We, however, who live in a world mixed with Din and Rachamim (mercy) will experience a reality based on the ruling of Beis Hillel - All of our people will survive, bezras Hashem, except for the most wicked individuals.

This leaves us with a small quandary. Based on what I am saying, why should we bother to do Teshuva? In any event Hashem will have mercy on us and redeem all of His people!

The answer is based on something that Rabbi Akiva Tatz writes in his book Living Inspired. While it's true that G-d willing, all of our people will survive, there will be a tremendous level of embarrassment that will be endured, Heaven forbid, when the truth of the spiritual world becomes evident. At that moment of truth, the contrast between Reality and how lives have been led will be most telling. For those who have lived their lives in accordance with the teachings of the Torah, their lives will reflect a harmony that will be exhilarating. For those who did not, however, their will be a tremendous dissonance that will result in a tremendous feeling of shame.

It is for this reason that we must redouble our efforts to do Teshuva, to try our best to constantly bring our lives in line with the dictates of the Torah - the Will of Hashem. We must develop our love of Hashem and our commitment to Him, and we must also pray on behalf of all our brethren who have not been privileged to know the Truth that they too should be drawn toward the light. The more we do this the more we will fulfill that which we say, "למען לא נבוש ולא נכלם" - in order that we not be embarrassed and mortified. The more we live a life of consonance with Truth, the greater will be our ability to fulfill the verse that speaks of the ultimate joy of Moshiach, "אז ימלא שחוק פינו ולשוננו רינה" - then will our mouths be filled with laughter, and our tongues with praise. May it be speedily in our days.

Story for Succot

Avraham and Shmuel agreed to meet in Manhattan on the corner of 47th Street and 6th Avenue at 11:00 am. Avraham does not own a cell phone and on the train towards Manhattan saw his friend and borrowed his cell phone to call Shmuel. He told him that he's on his way and should be on time for their meeting. Shmuel asked him if he can call him back on this cell number and Avraham explained that it's not his cell; he borrowed it from his friend, head of Chevre Kadisha of Boro Park.

Shmuel got to the location on time and waited for his friend to show up. 15 minutes pass by and no Avraham. He thought to himself that he probably misunderstood the location, and walked towards 5th Avenue, while continuing looking for his friend. Another 10 minutes passed, and no Avraham. Shmuel was frustrated; how can Avraham live without a cell phone and now, there's no way to contact him. He started walking toward 42nd Avenue, not sure anymore where they agreed to meet.

While walking, he heard a woman calling "Rabbi, Rabbi, I need your help". He turns around and sees a young woman running towards him. 'Now what?', he thought to himself, 'now I'm a Rabbi?'.

When the woman approached him, he explained that he's not a Rabbi and started to walk away. The woman again called to him "Rabbi, please". She asked him if he was Jewish and of course, he replied that he's an Orthodox Jew and does not speak to strange women. "Good", she answered, "I need your help desperately. My husband, Mr. Robert Freedman, is Jewish but I'm not. He's in a coma in a hospital not far away."

"My husband spent most of his life in prison. He sometimes gets paroled from prison for good behavior and always came home. But this year in September, he didn't want to come home. I begged him but he claimed that there's a Rabbi in the prison and he began attending Jewish classes and likes it very much. He said that his parole coincides with a Jewish Holiday called Succot and during this holiday, the Jews make a blessing on 4 species and can only eat in a Succa. I told him that it's no problem and I'll purchase a a Succa and place it in the living room. I'll get the 4 species, whatever they are, and he can come home and can continue to practice his Jewish ritual ceremonies at home. He refused. He explained that a Jew must be in the Succa for 8 days and my food is not kosher and the kitchen and utensils are not kosher and it'd defeat the whole purpose."

"I finally gave in. He chose not to take advantage of his parole and decided he'd rather stay in prison so he can eat Kosher in a Jewish Succa. He could have chosen to be free but he chose to stay in prison. I don't understand it. Now, he's very ill, and needs medical attention and he's in the hospital".

Shmuel had no idea why she's telling him all this. He courteously listened and wished her husband to have a quick recovery and began walking away. The woman again called "Rabbi, I need your help".

Shmuel p-a-t-i-e-n-t-l-y asked her what help can he possibly offer? She answered that in all likelyhood, her husband is not going to survive the illness and wanted to know if Judaism permits burying a Jew in any cemetery. "No", answered Shmuel. "The Jews are buried ONLY in Jewish cemeteries!".

He remembered that Shmuel called him using his friend's cell phone, Rabbi Rosen, whom works in the Chevre Kadisha. He dialed the last incoming phone number and spoke with the Rabbi and quickly explained the situation. Rabbi Rosen told him to give the wife his phone number and if and when the time arrives, she should call him and he'll arrange a proper Jewish burial for Mr. Freedman.

Shmuel wanted to give her the phone number of the Rabbi but she couldn't find a pen. She searched thru the contents of her purse and pulled out her cell. She shrieked "Oh my God, here's the cell. While in the hospital, I couldn't find my cell. I checked my purse 20 times for the cell and could not find it. I thought maybe I left it in a store and was returning to the store to see if it's there and that's when I bumped into you. Oh my God, it was in the purse the whole time. This is a miracle!". Excitedly, she punched the phone number of the Jewish Rabbi in her cell as well as Shmuel's cell number and thanked Shmuel.

Finally, Shmuel was free to continue searching for his friend. The time was 11:55 am and he decided to go to the original location, 47th street and 6th Avenue. He ran the whole way back and saw Avraham waiting for him. "What took you so long?", Avraham was mad. He was impatiently waiting and was just about to leave. Shmuel told him what happened and they both realized the amazing Hand of HaShem coordinating this "mishap".

A few days later, Shmuel gets a phone call. It was Motzei Shabbat (Saturday nite, after Shabbat)and it was from the woman he "bumped" into in Manhattan. "Listen", she says, "I've been calling you all day but no answer. Thank God I finally found you. My husband is "dying to die" but somehow he cannot. Is it proper to call my priest to say with him the last rites so he can die in peace?". Shmuel explained that according to the Jewish religion, a Rabbi is needed to say the Viduy. He promised her that he'll immediately get a Rabbi to come personally to the hospital.

Quickly, he called Rabbi Rosen and explained the situation. Without wasting a precious moment, Rabbi Rosen organized 3 men to go to the hospital. When they arrived, they said the Viduy and "Shema Israel HaShem Elokeinu HaShem Echad" with Mr. Freedman. 2 seconds later, Mr. Freedman returned his soul to the Maker.

They needed to attain all proper papers to release the body and it took over 24 hours. Finally, Sunday nite, Mr. Freedman's body was delivered to Boro Park to the facilities of the Chevre Kadisha.

Early Monday morning Shmuel calls Rabbi Rosen to ask about Mr. Freedman. Rabbi Rosen asked him where he is and Shmuel answered that although he lives in Williamsburg, this morning he had something very important to do in Boro Park. "Baruch HaShem", Rabbi Rosen said excitedly, "You know where the Chevre Kaddishe facility is? Come right away. We are doing Tahara but only have 9 men and need a 10th man to properly bury Mr. Freedman".
-----------------------------------------------
Mr. Freedman insisted to sit in a Succa for 8 days in prison, instead of going home. He did tremendous Kiddush HaShem and fulfilled the Commandement "Go out from your permanent dwellings and live in a temporary dwelling".

This is a true story, told by Shmuel and printed in the magazine Mishpacha.
Le'ilui nishmat (ascent of the soul) Mr. Freedman.

Each Good Word Counts

It is a few days after Yom Kippur and we watch with astonishment as financial markets crumble and economies collapse. All that Hashem does is for the good of Klal Yisrael, but we need to see a year of REVEALED good to all of Klal Yisrael.

Regardless of what happens in the world around us, us Jews have a collective power that can immunize us from all the turmoil surrounding us, the power of speech and prayer "...The Voice is the Voice of Jacob".

Each word we say creates an angel. Each good word we utter, each good thing we say about another Jew creates a good angel, an angel that stands before G-d Almighty and repeats those good words and beseeches of him to shower revealed goodness upon Klal Yisrael.

Talk Postive is a new blog which was established to create positive talk about Klal Yisrael. If you have something positive to say about another Jew, if you saw someone doing a good deed, if you yourself did a good deed, even things that seem small, they all count, verbalize them WITH YOUR MOUTH and then post them here. They will be read VERBALLY at the Kevarim of Tzadikim, and at the Kotel (Western Wall).

Please spread the word and keep the posts coming, please use positive language only.
May we collectively bring down a great year of revealed good for all of Klal Yisrael, and to the ultimate goodness the coming of Moshiach immediately.

Visit Talk Postive and post something positive.

5769: Year of the Redemption

Every year before blowing the Shofar the Admor of Sanz speaks to the congregation and offers them chizzuk (inspiration), just as all the former Admorim of Sanz used to do.

This year the congregation was very stunned when on the second day of Rosh Hashanah the Admor was literally crying on the holy podium saying: "It is well-known that it says in the Zohar HaKadosh that it only proper to request on Rosh Hashanah that HaShem rule over us, and not to request materialistic things - but what can we say when so many of Bnei Israel are tormented from the economy collapse and are suffering with lack of livelihood, including the rich people and the middle-class people."

Here the Rebbe Admor openly cried before G.od and said, "Master of the world, the Rambam says that in order to navigate the son onto the straight path, the father needs to pull his heart with sweets to direct him to continue studying the Torah and observing the Mitzvot. We are praying, please send an abundance of welfare on Am Israel. Because we are a generation of orphans, we ask that in order to strengthen us in spirituality, we need to be physically comfortable".

On Shabbat Shuva, the Admor repeated again what he said including, "There are many signs that this year 5769 is the year of the Pekida (redemption) and we cannot lose the opportunity to be redeemed forever. Each person must do something to strengthen in observing the Torah and its Mitzvot and improve the Middot.”

The Admor said that as preparation for the redemption, one of the yeshiva students told him that he received on his own to leave his business involvement during trading hours, and use the time to prepare for salvation of his soul. "I do not expect", said the Admor, "anyone else to do so. But I expect each person to awaken and strengthen himself."

Rav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita Speaks About Moshiach

Six months after 2 stroke attacks, former chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliahu Shlita is still hospitalized in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Mordechai Eliahu Shlita's son, the Rabbi of the city of Safed, Harav Shmuel Eliyahu Shlita, said his father is studying and writing answers to urgent questions brought to him. Usually he communicates thru writing or just moves his lips without using his voice. A medical system is connected to him that prevents him to speak normally. He said that when asked about the condition of his father, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu smiles a wide smile and replied: "Baruch HaShem. It's getting better" "My father gives courage to physicians and nurses. Even if he is in pain and suffers, he says: 'thank G.od, it's all right'."

Speaking device is used for the Rav to speak. The Rav takes advantage to talk about the urgency to unite Am Israel in order to bring the complete redemption.

Rav Shmuel Eliyahu Shlita talked about the extraordinary cloak his father earned from the honorable Baba Sali, zs'kl, which the Baba Sali personally prepared to wear for the coming of Moshiach. Before the passing of the Baba Sali, he called Rav Mordechai Eliyahu, who was lovable to him, and handed him a few things including the Glima (cloak) and told him that with this cloak, he'll greet Moshiach Tzidkenu.

In the top pocket of the cloak are a few beard hairs of the revered Baba Sali and the Baba Sali told Rav Eliyahu before giving him the cloak, "Note that when you greet the Moshiach, these few beard hairs that were part of me will stay with you."

Another thing that is associated with the Moshiach's arrival are the 2 watches Rav Mordechai Eliyahu received from the Baba Sali. Baba Baruch Shlita, the Baba Sali's son, told Rav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita that his father came to him several times in a dream and instructed him to give the watches to Rav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita. The Baba Sali said that when the watches read 12:00, Moshiach is coming.

The Rav once said the clock is showing five minutes before twelve, and now the clock are at twelve. Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, "We don't dare to open the clocks without my father, my teacher, Rav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita. But there is such a rumor - and we are really very close to the redemption. In any case, we need to pray that the Rav, HaRav Mordechai Tzemach ben Mazal Tov Shlita, will have complete recovery and his health improves so he can return home and personally see if the watches are showing 12:00 o'clock and announce the good news to us.

I asked him several times about the watches and he replied the verse: "שִׁמְרוּ מִשְׁפָּט וַעֲשׂוּ צְדָקָה כִּי קְרוֹבָה יְשׁוּעָתִי לָבוֹא וְצִדְקָתִי לְהִגָּלוֹת So says HaShem: Keep judgment and do justice: for My salvation is near to come, and My justice to be revealed.

Listen to Rav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita's blessing for the new year.
