Voting - NOT

Ever since I can remember, I never liked voting. I always felt that no matter who I vote for, somehow, I'll end up regretting it. This matter only strengthened when I met in Gush Katif an old man who was bitterly crying prior to the disengagement that he wants to cut off his right hand, the hand that voted for Sharon.

Last Tuesday was super Tuesday - although I'm not sure what was so super about it. My husband asked me who the Rabbanim are sponsoring and I said I do not know. In any case, my husband suggested that I vote for Clinton and I refused. I said if I ever go inside a voting booth, my only vote would be for Moshiach.

Later that week, I was reading the monthly 'Community' (a religious Syrian-American magazine) and saw a very interesting ad sponsored by Central Rabbinical Congress of the U.S.A. and Canda.

Translation:
In the upcoming elections of the 'democratic party', one is prohibited from voting for any of the 'candidates' because they are all are in the catergory of 'abomination'.

in particular, one is prohibited voting for "Obama" - and everyone is prohibited voting for Clinton, chas vechalia (G.od forbid).

This will cause a tremendeous Chillul Shem Shamayim (profaning of Gd's name) that is indescribable and very likely place Am Israel in enormous danger - spiritually and materialistically - that was never ever seen before in this country.

As the U.S. election campaigns are heating up, I was wondering if HaShem is sending us messages thru wildfires, major snowstorms, and frigid weather... warning us to stay away from the U.S. presidential elections?? Just a thought...
