False Predictions by False Prophets
How can we identify fake mekubalim and so-called prophets, when they come dressed with the proper attire? Today I received 'predictions/prophecy' via email from a friend, who got it from an anonymous 'mekubal'. There is no need to mention the 'mekubal's name, even though some of you think you know him... I rewrote this email (translated from Hebrew) to give Am Israel chizuk and to help you be aware not to be swept away by fake 'mekubalim' just because of the enjoyment of the 'subject'. They mix minimum truth with maximum lies.
1. Very soon Israel will be attacked by missiles from Syria, Hizballa, Iran, Saudia Arabia, and Hamas, this includes biological weapons. It will hit hard Haifa, Tel Aviv and the center. The Air Force will absorb defeat from the enemies rockets.
2. This is JUST the beginning of Gog uMagog and it will last 6 years, till 2014.
3. The war will spread to all Middle East and eventually, the whole world. It will be WWIII - war of religions, the great day of judgment.
4. Moshiach is alive and well in the Tel Aviv area, he will begin ruling after Pesach, 5769/2009.
5. USA is heading for bunkrupcy, it's army will sink as well as the country.
6. A terrible earthquake will hit Israel shortly.
7. The Moslem, together with Jordan and Egypt, will rule.
8. Because of HaShem's promise to send us Moshiach, Am Israel is alive. Otherwise, there would not be 1 Jew in the world.
9. The antisemitic is going to get very difficult, it will be worse than the Holocaust.
10. Jews of the diaspora: If they don't make Aliya to Eretz Israel right away, they will be gone, will suffer the same fate as the Jews who were left behind in Egypt.
11. During Gog uMagog, Iran will attack Israel with biological weapons.
12. It's Judgment Day and HaShem is harshly judging the rebellious Am Israel.
13. All those that are dependant on money and materialistics, will fall with their money and fancy homes. Shelter bombs will not help.
There are more 'predictions' but it's not relevant. What is relevant is to identify fake mekubalim. It is obvious that we are living in a very unsecure world, and whomever does not see this, is asleep. One must be very careful when speaking about Moshiach, because nonsense talk only delays him. Moshiach will be whom HaShem chooses, and not someone we consider capable of being the Moshiach.
To protect people from the inherent dangers of mystical practices, the Rabbis ordained that one must be at least 40 years old, married, and employed (that is, must possess emotional maturity and solid roots in this world) to enter into Kabbalah.
Due to the recent popularity of Kabbalah, there is an increasing number of shysters. Let the seeker beware. It might be useful to ask questions like;
Does this person's family/personal life seem healthy?
Does the Mekubal talk about demons?
What motives does this person seem to have?
Do they charge money or ask for favors?
What kind of people see this 'mekubal', are they religious or seculars?
Are there certified Rav or Rabbanim that agree with this 'mekubal'?
Beware of false mekubalim who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Fake mekubalim are very hard Klipot. They do much damage and harm to the person, spiritually and physically. They use koach (power) from the Tumaa and thus, transfers it to the 'victim', r'l.
A friend of mine went to a fake mekubal, minus $2,000 later, his problem escalated to a point of suicide, r'l. We took right away to an authentic God-fearing Mekubal and the Mekubal didn't even want to shake his hand from fear of contact with the tumaa (klipot). The authentic Mekubal helped him tremendously, and b'h, the friend is no longer suicidal and doing much much better.
Whomever wants to know true prophecies and about the near redemption, should read and hear what autistics are saying. The Rabbanim give them the seal of approval - they do not mix lies with truth. Rav Eliyahu Dessler zt"l said these Jewish souls are the most intelligent people in the world because they are more connected with their souls and know "things". Their souls are not restricted by their brains. However, the souls of people like us are restricted by our brain. The Chazan Ish zt'l sensed the holiness of these souls. They don't charge a fee and do this only to give you chizuk to do Teshuva.
