Trust HaShem, NOT the IDF
This past Thursday night, 8 people went to Kever Yosef HaTzaddik, zs'kl, in Sh'chem despite the IDF prohibition that Jews cannot enter Palestinian territories. After completing the prayers at 3:30 am Friday morning, the group was ready to leave Sh'chem but that's when trouble began.
The IDF spotted them and decided the group needed the 'harsh treatment' and blocked them from leaving. When the IDF army catches Jews at Kever Yosef HaTzaddik, they place them in prison. The 8 Jews were somehow able to escape and quickly got inside their car. They turned their car around and the IDF soldiers inside their jeep were in hot pursuit after them. Every street and narrow alleyways they drove thru, the IDF blocked them with a military patrol jeep, trying to catch them.
Somehow, the group of managed escaping the IDF soldiers but lost their way and after hours of chase, they found themselves in Salem city in Sh'chem. At dawn, their car got stuck in the mud and were unable to release it.
The group contacted Breslevers in Yerushalayim and asked them for assistance. The Breslevers have constant communication with the Palestenian Authority of Sh'chem and they called the governor of Kfar Salem. After explaining to him the situation, the governor himself went out with his tractor and brought cables with him to help release the group's car from the mud. At 9 am, the group was on its way back home.
Nachman Weiss, a Breslver from Yerushalayim, explains, "Despite everything, nothing will stop us and we will continue entering the Kever of Yosef HaTzaddik, zs'l. As Jews, it is our right and nothing will stop us, not the palestinians and not the IDF army."
