"Let all enemies perish, HaShem: but let them that love Him be as the sun when he goes forth in his might."

The first time the blessing on the sun, Birkat HaChama, occured on Wednesday, 14 Nissan was when the Jews were redeemed from Egypt, and all our enemies perished.

The second time, recorded in Megillat Esther, Birkat HaChama occured Wednesday, 14 Nissan and the decree to kill the Jews was annulled, and all our enemies perished. After this great miracle, King Darius of Persia (Daryavesh, zs'l, son of Esther HaMalka, a'h) helped the Jews return to Eretz Israel to build the second Bet HaMidash.

Kadosh Elyon האדמו"ר מאסטראווצע, zs'l, author of Meir Enei Chachamim, wrote in his sefer that the third time that Am Israel will bless the sun Wednesday, 14 of Nissan will be in the year 5769. He writes, "This will be last time ever and shortly afterwards, the Geula MUST come, b'h!".

HaRav Binyahu Shmueli Shlita, Rosh Yeshivat Nahar Shalom in Yerushalayim, recently also said the same, Blessing on the Sun and Geula.
