Harav Mutzafi: The secret behind the attack on Tsfat, Teveria and Meron[+/-] show/hide text
The mekubal Harav Bentzion Mutzafi spoke about the difficult security situation in Israel due to rocket attacks in the North. He revealed that according to the sefer "Chesed L'Avraham" the North of Israel is described as the "legs" of Eretz Yisrael, where Tsfat and Teveria are the two legs (right and left, respectively), and Har Meron, the resting place of the Rashb"i, is the brit kodesh. The Rav said that according to kabbalah this is the reason that Teveria and Tsfat are being hit, because according to the holy Zohar the forces of evil and impurity always grasp onto the legs, and this is connected to the idea of the "heels of Moshiach".
The Rav explained that the warfare is not coming from the whims of Nasrallah and the Hezbollah, but rather this is a decree and that from Heaven Hezbollah received "permission" (so to speak) for now to shoot at Israel, which is part of the decree, and we must Tshuva. The Rav explained that it is as if the holy Tannaim who are buried in the Galil are saying "bring the rockets upon us, just not on cities full of people".
The Rav said that everyone must strengthen themselves as much as possible in their emunah, because "by doing this a great salvation will come, and the salvation that we want this time - a complete and final salvation. We don't want to go around the block again, and again and another war and another attack. It should be the end to all the suffering, and it will be the end to all the sighs and sorrows." Later the Rav said, referring to the Geulah: "...this time it is the final geulah, this is not 'until the Litani [river, in South Lebanon]', or until some river, the plans of men, these are not the plans of Hakadosh Baruch Hu. Hakadosh Baruch Hu - His plans are to completely redeem Israel from the nations of the world. To redeem us from the evil inclination, from the sorrows and the sighs--finally! So this time we need this to be final, and then what will be? (Quoting a sefer that he had:) 'Evil will be nullified from the world, and anyone who is related to evil - will be lost with the evil, G-d forbid'.
The Rav also said that what is happening in the North is an atonement for Am Yisrael thru the pain, and later on he said in the name of the Shela"h haKadosh that "every single Jew who is experiencing suffering - one must share in his suffering and feel his pain...[and in this merit] our neshomas are refined through the suffering, and then the klipah is reduced, and the shechina rises, and this brings the geulah closer."
