Signs of End of Days

Guest post from Reb "Anonymous"

During a visit to my hometown, a very important Hassidic Rebbe from Yerushalayim gave a Dvar Torah during Shabbat, and I was fortunate to have the merit of hearing him.

He said that at the end of the days trees that ususally don't bear fruits will do so and this is a clear sign of Acharit Hayamim. The Rebbe linked Jewish people with trees and said that with their feet firmly planted on the ground, deep roots and their heads rising toward Heaven.

After Mussaf was over, I approached him and got his permission to make a comment. I said to him, that inasmuch as trees would bloom in Acharit Hayamim, as it is written in Parshat Ekev, there will be no barren man, woman or animal within Am Israel. An additional sign of End of Days would be that Jewish couples who hadn't been able to conceive children, would be able to.

My Rebbe said that when one does Shiluach Haken, an angel stands in front of the Heavenly Throne and asks Hashem Yisborach to give children to the person who did the Mitzvah, reminding Him that two bird's eggs or chicks are nothing compared to a Jewish baby! And not surprisingly, Hashem delivers!

May we all be zoche to see the Melekh HaMoshiach come soon and in our days!
