Menorah for Bet HaMikdash

The 24k gold Menorah was built by the Temple Institution for the 3rd Bet HaMikdash. In honor of Chanukah, it will be moved across the Mount Temple.

The Menorah was constructed based on descriptions written in the Torah ; details given by Chazal; and from documents written by Yosef ben Matityahu (zs'l) of the Maccabim.

The weight of the Menorah is approximately half a ton and 45 kg (100 lbs) of it is made from 24 karat gold. It is estimated to be worth 3 million dollars.
