Prophecy:
Sefer Chesed L’Avraham (Maayan 4, Nahar 37-38) by the Kadosh Elyon Saraf Elokim Mekubal Rav Avraham Azulai, zs'kl, written 360 years ago.
In the scenerio of "In its due time," in Shnat Yovel, Am Israel will experience many pains simultaneously... Each person will need to go thru his or her own personal Gog UMagog. Am Israel will be poor, won’t have food to eat, won't have clothing, won't have pleasures, homes will be destroyed, cities will be destroyed, we will be homeless and will not have refuge from the bitter cold.
Just as Prophet Zephaniah, zs'kl, said, (3:12): וְהִשְׁאַרְתִּי בְקִרְבֵּךְ, עַם עָנִי וָדָל; וְחָסוּ, בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה
And I will leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall take refuge in the name of HaShem.
Vision:
* The Unites States will be severly struck because of their pride.
* The dollar will lose its value and the inflation will severely escalate.
* America will become bankrupt.
Dream:
People were feeling very frustrated and confused, crying, 'I never saw it coming...". Everyone became so money-crazed.... People were banging on banks' doors to be let in... Bank employees were also petrified because they also lost all their money and the only reason they came to 'work' was to try to save their money. Everything seemed so chaotic...

Global economic crisis 5769/2008:
Around the world stock markets have fallen, large financial institutions have collapsed or been bought out, and governments in even the wealthiest nations have had to come up with rescue packages to bail out their financial systems.
The United States has asked the United Arab Emirates for 70 billion dollars, Qatar for 60 billion dollars and is seeking 40 billion dollars from Kuwait to help it curb the global financial meltdown. The United States plans to use the funds to help the ailing automobile industry, banks, and other companies suffering from the global financial turmoil.
The mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is medicare and our entire government. The list is staggering in its length, width, and depth.
The global economic crisis is beginning to sink its teeth into the Israeli economy, manifesting itself in the form of layoffs and salary cuts. 42,000 people lost their jobs in Israel in the past three months. Religious institutions have been among the hardest hit by the economic downturn with some already facing closure. Gedolim recently called for increased prayers in response to the economic crisis.
