Chaos Rocking Edom

With less than 14 days away from the new year, 5769, we see the world and its residents have no choice but to get ready for a major big change... Face it, the economy is a ticking time-bomb. The financial crisis began to bubble up from billions of dollars in rotten mortgage loans that have crippled the balance sheets and causing Edom's (USA) greatest financial institutions to collapse; Bear Stearn, Lehman Brothers, and Merrill Lynch & Co. While AIG; American International Group Inc., Bank of America, Washington Mutual Inc., Wachovia Corp., Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are also going down the drain...

There are also worries that Lehman's problems would infect other financial companies and spread to global stock markets, further harming the U.S. and global economies. Wilbur Ross, chairman and CEO of WL Ross & Co. said that he sees, "possibly as many as a thousand bank closures in the coming months."

But it's not only banks that are in trouble, the upheaval in the American financial system are sending shock waves through the stock market, producing the worst day on Wall Street. The Depression will make all this look like a cake walk.

The spiritual and materialistic significance of the collapse of the American financial institutions means that the 'abundance faucet' has been permanently shut off. The Jewish nation living in America will not only have to weather the deep, dark recession but also the escalation of antisemitism which will rise to unimaginable heights.

Prophet Ovadia, zs'kl, says the reason for Edom's downfall is because:

זְדוֹן לִבְּךָ הִשִּׁיאֶךָ, שֹׁכְנִי בְחַגְוֵי-סֶלַע מְרוֹם שִׁבְתּוֹ; אֹמֵר בְּלִבּוֹ, מִי יוֹרִדֵנִי אָרֶץ.
The pride of your heart has beguiled thee, O thou that dwells in the clefts of the rock, thy habitation on high; that says in thy heart: 'Who shall bring me down to the ground?'

* At the end of the years 5,760 (the latest 5760 is 5769) since the creation of the world, the Pasuk from Zechariah 13;2 "וְאֶת-רוּחַ הַטֻּמְאָה, אַעֲבִיר מִן-הָאָרֶץ and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land" will occur.

* In the scenario of "In its due time," which begins in 2 weeks, Shnat Yovel 5769, Merciful HaShem will make Am Israel enormously poor to a point we will increasingly weep and this will cause our toughened hearts to soften to be able to do sincere Teshuva.
