Update on HaRav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita
"The reason for HaRav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita's detiorating health and stroke is due to hardships that Am Israel are enduring, including the terrorist attack in Yeshivat Mercaz Harav, where 8 Kedoshim were mercilessly murdered," says HaRav Shmuel Zafrani, Rav Mordechai Eliyahu's personal assistant.
Today, Wednesday March 21, the Rav woke up and his health is improving, b'h. The doctors say that his brain is working fine and was not damaged, b'h.
This morning HaRav Shmuel Zafrani announced on the religious radio station, Radio Kol Chai, that the Rav is awake but cannot yet speak. Upon waking up, thru written correspondence, the first question he asked is if he prayed Ma'ariv last night and if he counted the Omer.
His family thanks Am Israel for the intense prayers for his health and well-being.
