Rav Shach, zs'l, Prophecy
Whomever observes with honesty at today's relationship of Am Israel with HKB'H, it has no other definition execpt - violation of the covenant.
The children of the Jewish nation announced in the early days of the creation of the world that the world has a Landlord, and He rules its destiny. For the merit of this announcement, we merited that the Creator of the World revealed Himself to us at Sinai mountain and chose us as His nation. HaShem gave us His Torah and made a convenant with us that we will observe the Torah and will be His nation for eternity.
But now Am Israel severed the convenant with HKB'H in maximum callous way, with menacing delusions that Am Israel are masters of their fate and the Landlord does not rule!
How can such an error occur?
How is it possible that the chosen nation of HaShem broke the convenant between themselves and their G.od and announce that the convenant does not commit us, and instead choose to follow the laws of the Knesset?
How can Am Israel delude themselves that it's possible to disconnect their commitment from the Landlord and expect the Landlord not to react.
How is it possible that Am Israel has dreams of peace, that one day we will live in peace like the rest of the nations, without feeling the need of receiving approval from the Landlord, the One they anger so much?
Sooner or later, the Landlord's reaction will arrive for severing the convenant with Him.
How to prevent the next holocaust?
There were warnings before the disaster of the Jewish Holocaust many years before it happened, in the time when a great portion of Am Israel idolized the 'advanced' German culture.
Am Israel's idolization caused abandonment of the Torah and conversion to an 'intelligent' lifestyle, following the German culture and their lifestyles.
The author of the book Meshech Chochma, Rabbi Meir Simcha HaKohen of Dvinsk (1843-1926) yelled that a stormy wind will come that will uproot Am Israel and yelled that Berlin is not Yerushalayim. But his warning wasn't heard.
50 years later, after Am Israel learned the meaning of an 'intelligent' lifestyle, is returning to its unbearable errounous ways and again, living under the misconception that Am Israel is like all the nations and stylish lifestyle is more appropriate than the way of life the Torah defines.
In this situation, we have reason to worry. The present situation is that Am Israel does not recognize the reality that they are the chosen nation of HaShem and try to behave like all the nations, but this will not continue for long.
The existence of a Jewish State in Eretz Israel announces that the laws of the Torah that HaShem gave us in Sinai does not commit them. This is an organized rebellion of Am Israel against their G.od and His Torah, and it requires, c'v, another holocaust. Not a long time will pass till Am Israel will understand the significance choice and will sober and realize, who are we?
Eretz Israel belongs to Am Israel, regardless if it's under the ruling of strangers or not. The present question is after territories were captured by the IDF, can we give up Jewish land or is it forbidden for us to concede and we must fight for the possession of Eretz Israel?
This question - it's not a question!
Eretz Israel was promised to Avraham Avinu, zs'l, that it'll be given as a gift to his children. As a gift and not thru weapons.
Yitzchak Avinu, zs'l, blessed his 2 sons; Yaakov Avinu, zs'l, was blessed that "HaShem will give him" and Esav was blessed that 'he'll live on his swords'.
The conquer and grasp of Eretz Israel means that we did not yet receive Eretz Israel from HKB'H. Therefore, the question of concession is not relevant!
The only question is, from security point, is it preferable to reach an agreement with the Arabs and if yes, is this agreement realistic and genuine.
We firmly believe HaShem's ruling, as was written in the Torah, 'our living in our land in peace can only be guaranteed if we keep the laws of the Torah'.
If, G.od forbid, Am Israel continues behaving in the way they have behaved till today, that the government of Israel does not recognize HaShem and His Torah, and continuating immoral behavior, the warning the Torah tells us will materialize, as it says, "המעשים המתועבים שבגינם הארץ מקיאה את יושביה Because of revolting behavior, the Holy land vomits her dwellers". Eretz Israel wil continue to vomit its dwellers just as she did to all previous nations that tried occupying her.
Chazal counseled us how we must behave, to increase Torah learning, increase fear of Heaven, each person should elevate himself to be closer to HKB'H.
But, if Am Israel neglects the Torah and forgets their Creator, the responsibility lies on every Jew to make an effort to return the Jews to the path of truth.
This is not the time to be a 'hidden Tzadik', for he doesn't deserve the title Tzadik! A genuine Tzadik does not hide at a time like this, his duty is to reveal himsef and to operate. He must give guidance to the nation!
Anyone that knows what is about to occur, must test the extent of his responsibility and possiblity save Am Israel! It is possible that the progression to wake up will reach those farther away, including opening eyes of those that fight HaShem's Torah.
In circles far from the Torah, the calling of "There is a Judge and there is Judgement" has began to be heard.
We must know that each person will stand in judgment infront of the Creator of the world and give account not only to his actions, but what he could have done but didn't!
Only a person that does not realize the great responsibility that weighs on him can remain apathetic and live a peaceful life.
One who recognizes his responsibility for Am Israel, and his soul is stormy, must find way to operate.
The ethical moral of the Jewish nation in Eretz Israel is most serious, therefore, when the deterioration of Am Israel is so deep, maybe this will wake up the Jewish nation to be sober and they will recognize their worth and will return to the path of truth. And then, Am Israel will merit to return to their G.od and regain their former status, the chosen nation of HaShem!
