OUR Merciful Father
OUR MERCIFUL FATHER, PLEASE DELIVER ALL KLAL YISRAEL SAFELY WITHOUT HARM FROM THE GALUT TO THE GEULA SHLEMA - AMEN VE'AMEN!
My friend Sarah asked the Lubavitch Rebbe zs'l thru Igrat Kodesh to ask HaShem to forgive us and asked what we should do to survive the last stages of GOG and Magog. The following is the answer she received:[+/-] show/hide text
.... Indeed, anyone familiar with conditions in Egypt in those days knows how depraved the Egyptians were in those days, and much of this had tarnished the character of the Jews enslaved there. Yet, in the course of only fifty days, the Jews rose to the sublimes height of spirituality and true freedom, both physical and spiritual.
Furthermore, the spiritual freedom which the Torah had brought them, and which has also illuminated to some extend the rest of the world, was linked with material freedom, namely freedom from material problems. As the Torah tells us that the children of Israel had the "manna " and the Well, and all the material needs were provided in a miraculous way.
The narratives of the Torah are not simply stories for entertainment, but are themselves part of the general instruction and teaching which the Torah conveys in all its parts. In these narratives we find also the answer as how the situation might be under certain conditions at some time in the FUTURE. If the conditions would be similar to those which existed at the time when the children of Israel left Egypt, complete faith in God, following the Divine call into the desert, LEAVING BEHIND THEM THE FLESHPOT OF EGYPT AND THE FAT OF THE LAND, NOT EVEN TAKING PROVISION WITH THEM, BUT RELYING ENTIRELY ON G-D, and in this state of dedication to the truth they followed the Pillar of Light by day and by night - should these conditions be duplicated, or even approximated, then one may well expect a most radical change , NOT ONLY OVER A PERIOD OF YEARS, BUT IN THE COURSE OF A NUMBER OF DAYS
With blessing.

"LEAVING BEHIND THEM THE FLESHPOT OF EGYPT AND THE FAT OF THE LAND, NOT EVEN TAKING PROVISION WITH THEM, BUT RELYING ENTIRELY ON G-D,"
Does this mean like getting on a plane to Israel right away with only what you can carry?
TAKE NOTHING AND TRUST HASHEM ....
Nava, I know your friend Sara and she is amazing with the Igros Kodesh. (Igros = plural for letters) Please print the volume and page.
It's Volume 5 Igros in English pg 62.
Sarah
In Mitzrayim, the Jews were told to stay indoors all night. Why? Because when the Mashchis is given to destroy, he cuts down ALL in his path, Tzaddik AND Rosho. When we learn that HaShem Himself went through Mitzrayim at ma'kas Bechoros, it was only to decide on those that the sitra Achra could not know...who in reality a b'chor, from which man or woman.
It appears that on The Yom HaDin HaGadol, HaShem Himself will judge each and every individual because ONLY HaShem is yodeia machashovos b'lev ish. Gilad has many merits in Shamayim. He is a Tinok shenishba. And now he is the catalyst causing many, many Yidden to davven to HaShem. What more can HaShem expect from this Heiligeh Neshomoh??!! HaShem should grant him arichas yomim to use in the service of HKB"H, thereby proving that he is worthy. VeChein Yhi Rotzon.
HaShem will surely take care of us in His loving way as He is Ovinu SheBashomayim. He knows what's best for us.... even if we sometimes think we're "smarter". Then again, don't all children think they're smarter than their parents? :-)
