Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide

First, there was the generation of Dor Hapalaga (generation of the atheists). They lived in one place and spoke one language. They also treated each other with respect and had unity... Until they wanted to build a big tall tower to fight against HaShem!

Result: HaShem caused them to communicate in a plethora of different languages and they were unable to understand one another and started fighting each other.

Second, came the generation of the Titanic. Titanic was built in order to dominate the transatlantic travel business, and the boat was built to surpass all rivals in luxury and opulenceas. Everyone at White Star Line boasted that the Titanic is the strongest and greatest ocean liner. It was called "The Unsinkable Ship".

Result: HaShem sunk the Titanic on its first Atlantic crossing. It struck an iceberg and sank on the morning of April 15, 1912 during her maiden voyage across the Atlantic Ocean to New York. It ranked as one of the worst peacetime maritime disasters in history.

Third, the world is in a panic and everyone feels that doomsday is coming, sooner or later. All commodities are about to explode; America is in a deep recession, the dollar is plummeting, price of wheat are alarming, fears of inflations felt world-wide, fear of nuclear war, climate change, etc... The Norwegian government decided to do something about it and is boasting about their "'Living Fort Knox'. They unveiled the final design for the "doomsday" vault in Svalbard which will house seeds from all known varieties of food crops.

Result: HaShem sent a major earthquake to the Norwegian Arctic archipelago of Svalbard. The vault was scheduled to be formally opened on Feb. 26 and HaShem sent an earthquake five days earlier measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale, the strongest earthquake in Norway in modern times.
