God Is Your Guardian

Friday, Dec. 8, something very powerful from Shamayim was revealed to me. I was told exactly what I needed to do. But first, there was the matter of telling my husband that I needed to go away and not to ask any questions. I was not allowed to reveal it to him either. I waited till Sunday to gently tell him, not ask him. He 'opposed' the idea and with that, went to take a nap. During his nap, a malach (angel) appeared to him and warned him not to stop me from what it is I need to do and not to try convincing me...

He woke up and told me his dream. He said that it'll take every effort on his part not to stop me but to 'reconsider' my options.

There is nothing to 'reconsider' but agreed that I'll go to the Ohel the following day and do Igrat Kodesh and ask the Lubavitch Rebbe, zs'l... The answer in the Igrat Kodesh matched 99.9% with the dream. When I returned home, I calmly called my husband and said 'it's a go-ahead'. He told me to wait till he gets home and we'll talk about it. At around 5:00 pm, he called and said that he thought about it and although it's difficult for him, he's afraid of Shamayim to delay me. I called the travel agent and there was one chair available for the 11:30 flight. I booked it, called a friend/neighbor and arranged with her to take care of the kids, packed a backpack and cooked dinner. When I checked-in at the airport, I was very surprised that I received a window seat, my favorite...

I slept the whole flight and woke up in time just to pray and land. I hardly felt the flight. I came out of the airport and took Sherut (service) to Yerushalayim. The driver asked me where I want to go and I said Bet Lechem to Kever Rochel Imenu, a'h. He started laughing, thinking I am joking. So I said drop me off at any central street and I'll manage... He asked me if I'm serious and I said as serious as he is about working and making money. He told me "fine, I'll take you but if entrance to Kever Rochel is not permitted, the price is the same!".

He asked me if I'm hungry and I realized I'm starving. I didn't eat dinner and nothing on the flight. He was kind to stop at 'Aroma', a dairy 'badatz' kosher restaraunt and told me he'll wait in the car. I got a sandwich and cappuccino and for him, espresso.

The drive to Kever Rochel was less than 15 minutes. We get to the main gate and they wouldn't permit entrance, only to cars and buses that are bullet proof. Not accepting no as an answer, I walked to the main building, not realizing that it was a walk-entrance only for Palestinians/ Arabs entering Bethlehem on foot. I saw 2 policemen and told them that if they don't give the driver permission to drive me to Kever Rochel, I'll walk to Kever Rochel. They laughed at me, just as the driver did at first.

They 'escorted' me back to the taxi, warning me never to step out of his car till I reach Yerushalayim, a Jewish area. They wanted from the driver his ID and demanded to know how he let me exit his car, alone. The driver's name is Ami. Ami didn't want trouble, apologized to the 2 fools and promised he'll take me back to Yerushalayim. He made a U-turn and I see a bus. I tell him STOP! I get out of the car, not paying attention to the 2 officer fools and ran towards the bus. I don't know if it's a bus with Palestinians or Jews but determined to find out and get to Kever Rochel.

I ask the bus driver if he can take me to Kever Rochel and he said 'I don't see a problem but you got to ask permission from the group leader.' Ok, it's a Jewish bus - b'h. The group leader is a woman, b'h. The bus is full of women of all ages. The leader tells me they spontaneous decided TONIGHT they want to go to Kever Rochel and are waiting official permission for entrance to Kever Rochel. Just then, a soldier walks over to the bus and says "It's a go ahead. You may enter to Kever Rochel". (In the pix is Yoav, the one who 'gave' entrance permission).

I ran back to Ami, paid him, took my backpack and ran back to the bus. Everyone wanted to know what I was doing on a road with a taxi. I explained that last night in NY, I had a big urge to go to Kever Rochel so I hopped on a plane, took a taxi and here I am. The leader was so touched and asked my name. She took the microphone and with a voice shaking, said "It was not a spontaneous decision to come to Kever Rochel tonite. It was Yad HaShem (Divine Providence) to enable us to bring Nava from NY inside Kever Rochel."

Everyone clapped and I was glad it was dark so no one can see me blushing. I don't like attention and in my mind, I was only answering their inquiry. I didn't expect such a big deal to be made about it. As I made my way to the back of the bus, everyone was staring at me as if I was ET. B'h, I speak perfect Hebrew and I mumbled that it's not me whom they are talking about, it's a different person whom is sitting in the front...

2 minutes later, we entered Kever Rochel. The time was approximately 8 p.m. About 90 minutes later, I asked in the office if it's possible to make a collect call. I didn't have my cell with me. They said I can call direct but I explained that it's to NY. "Are you the person whom just got off the plane?". How did they know this so quickly? "Yes", I replied. I gave them the phone number and they dialed for me. I told my husband that I arrived b'h safely and inside Kever Rochel. He asked me where I'm planning to sleep and I said "right here, with Ima Rochel". He told me that I'll never be able to get permission and even if I hide, it's not safe...

I calmly answered that HaShem brought me here and if it's the Will of HaShem, I'll stay here tonite. We spoke some more and when we hung up, the person who dialed for me asked "Do you want to stay here tonite?". He must have heard the conversation.

He explained that it's dangerous and I'll be all alone but if I am willing, it's at my own risk. The Kever is closed from 10:30 pm till 2:00 am, that's when a group of men come for Tikun Chatzot.
At 10:30, the last call was heard to get on the bus going back to Yerushalayim. It got so quiet all of a sudden. I realized, I'm physically all alone but this night, will be the most spiritual night ever...

Many things 'occured' till the minyan of men arrived. What I was originally sent to Israel to do was 'postponed'. There was something I needed to do in connection with Rochel Imenu's son, Yosef HaTzaddik, zs'l...

I pray daily that there will be no more postponements but I know that Hakol Letova - everything is for the good...

הנה לא ינום ולא ישן שומר ישראל ה' שומרך ה' צילך על יד ימינך
He not slumber and not will sleep, the Guardian of Israel. God is your guardian, God is your shade, over your right hand.
