Open Shut Eyes

It's very noticeable in the Jewish world, unnatural things are being said by various leaders:

1. Simcha Rot, conservative Rav, came out with 'psak halacha' that kissing the Mezuzot can transfer bacteria and sicknesses. Therefore, avoid touching and kissing a Mezuza.
Kitzur Shulchan Aruch (11;24): "The same way the Mezuzah is to remind HKB'H's great name, before leaving and entering one's home, one must kiss the Mezuza"

2. MK David Rotam from Leiberman's coalition party, Israel Betenu, said he is ready to blow up the Kotel for peace even if it's just to save one soldier.
גם את אבני הכותל המערבי מנשקים:שו"ת ציץ אליעזר חלק י סימן א ד"ה
We also kiss the stones of the Western Wall
Just as we kiss Mezuza, we definitely kiss the Kotel (and blow up people who suggests otherwise.)

3. Yated Ne'eman, an ultra religious newspaper wrote an article insulting the Jewish Yemenite people by claiming they have a very bad body odor .
A few days later, Yated Ne'eman apologized for the insulting remarks.

(The purpose of the following 2 are not intended to cause controversies)
4. HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita said that women must first bless the Shabbat candles and then light them.
HaRav Yosef Caro, zs'l, Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, wrote ברכה לאחר הדלקת נרות שבת, blessing after lighting Shabbat candles.

5. Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, Gerrer and Bezler Rabbis, Rabbi Aharon Leib Shteinman, Rabbi Shmuel HaLevy Vozner, Rabbi Chaim Pinchas Sheinberg, Shlita, and more, are forbidding Hassidic concert.

Avraham Fried and Yaakov Shwekey were scheduled to perform in Jerusalem Thursday night. Rabbis say it's forbidden. The rabbis say the ban applies to men, women and children and of course the performers. Also, newspapers are not permitted to advertise these events, and musicians who sing "in front of men and women together" must not be invited to sing at other events.

Both Shwekey and Fried signed a contract prior to the concert and the contract said that if the performer will not appear, he'll pay compensation of a half a million dollars, $500,000. Both performers showed up at the concert. During the concert, there was an unexpected blackout for a few minutes and when electricity returned, the concert continued.

Meanwhile, unnatural tragedies are escalating in our community and all around the world, after 9 Av:
Children and adults drowning;
Young children forgotten and suffocating to death in cars;
Yeshiva boys dehydraded and died;
Dozens of Orthodox Jewish families have gone bankrupt;
Me'a Shearim's electricity has not been working properly for 2 weeks in the scorching heat;
Overturned vehicles on Route 17 (Catskills);
Bridge in Minnesota collapsing while in Israel, a car flew off the bridge;
Evictions of families in Hevron, again;
Extreme escalation of earthquakes around the globe.

Autistics are continuing warning... and advising us to think about what is occurring in the world and do Teshua.
